  1. Played mostly in Europe. Cup of coffee where it counts. I know, not that great but it was what it was and I have no regrets.
  2. More than fine, and I really could give a rat's behind. However, I know what I know and what I have done and I use it when I interface in life in general and same thing in a chat forum. When some couch dwelling individual starts to criticize elite athletes it bothers me - sure, I don't have a stellar NHL career in my back pocket but I played with many who have and many along the road like myself who came close and NONE of them were anything short of top athletes. I think fans can criticize play etc. of players but to question some things is, to me, out of line. If you want to prove or disprove something - go right ahead. Just think of the players are human beings while you are doing it. Cheers
  3. So yours didn't pan out either I take it. Criticize mine but don't put forth yours. That isn't bickering son.
  4. He is not the only one who puked. Garland did twice. What is it trying to create false narratives?
  5. Wasn't the career I had hoped for but got paid to play the game I love for more than a decade. You?
  6. I have always defended asinine statements about the players and won't change for you. When you can tell me how you fared at the training camps you attended and how the players you saw respond to bag skates perhaps we can compare notes but until then, to me you are a couch dwelling guy spewing crap about something you know nothing about. Cheers.
  7. Juolevi was not the only guy flat out on the ice. Garland tossed his cookies. Stecher did most every year. Back in the day Gretz did all the time too....he seemed to have a decent career. Our best players in Germany were often the guys how went for it the most and if they even ate too much at breakfast were a mess during bag skate time. Give it a rest - you are way over your head. Running 200 m is not a marathon BTW.
  8. I think Benning, Agent, Hughes and EP40 are in a Video chat room sharing CDC, eating popcorn and having a great laugh at all the angst and even further hilarity when media try to say they know what is going on.
  9. My guess is that zero in your media have a clue what real sports is about from inside the ropes and are simply looking for click bait to show someone (boss?) they are relevant. Sad state of the sporting world these days and that some "fans" lap it up is equally sad.
  10. It isn't always about money it is about uniqueness of talent. Hughes can do things perhaps a handful of players in NHL can do and he is still a puppy who will only improve. He has superstar potential and any trade of him will likely haunt whoever traded him and the fanbase for a decade plus and any "monetary value" long forgetten.
  11. BUT...no question Canucks want EP40 contract announced first as if Hughes comes out, other teams know the exact CAP situation Canucks are in and can offer sheet EP40 just to make Vancouver shed a useful player.
  12. Fully conditioned and top players are often the ones who end up sprawled out....they are top/leaders as they push themselves harder than anyone else. I also think you implying that ANY of these players have not been brought up with coaches who have stressed conditioning is laughable. These are some of the most well-conditioned athletes in the world. Geez. Have you ever watched the Olympics and watched medal winners collapse at the finish line? Were they poorly conditioned?
  13. How dare he have a family with an immuno-suppressed child he is concerned about. What a complete idiot.
  14. Most of them work in the "news" industry for the CBC, CNN etc. but some certainly crawl out of their caves into this forum. When I see it aimed at young kids (many of them are kids) trying to impress coaches like they did when they were 10 years old get slayed by couch dwellers it really grinds my gears.....
  15. You been living in a cage. Go to ANY NFL camp and guys even literally almost die (in HS and College they unfortunately do). Baseball training camps are famous for guys throwing up and worse. Canucks have had guys year and and out have this issue as do all other NHL teams. My own experience has seen lots of this both in camps prior to a season and in summer training. You don't need COVID to have a little too much breakfast, be a tad "off" or even just didn't hydrate properly to either cramp up or feel like complete $&!#e. However, that "sprawl out on the ground thing"....has been happening in almost every sport for as long as there has been sports. For gawd's sake the first every "Marathon" distanced for the run the Athenian army chap originally did, gave his new, and then sprawled out and died. That literally impressed the "coaches" I am sure.
  16. The crap that gets piled on these guys before they even leave the gate - I wish some of you had a clue what it was like. So easy to sit on your couch.
  17. Wow, just wow. You know for certain he didn't have the flu or something else going on? He may have already done other drills others didn't prior. The list of possible reasons for someone being bagged are numerous. Unless you were on the ice and in the room with the team, stop trying to imply negative things about the kids. Give them a chance and if the coaches decide they are not up to it, then fine but wow on crapping on bits of info. If you watched anything today it was his 1 on 1 work where his lateral mobility was outstanding and far beyond anything over the past few years where lingering knee issues were in his way. Wow.
  18. Thanks for correcting me. I will continue to look for your 35 years of support for your team!
  19. Or d) he knows his picture will be over analyzed on CDC and someone will fabricate crap about him I'm going with d.......
  20. LOL - I remember you, Leafs fan. Gawd how hard life must be for you!
  21. It feels that family considerations played a role in this, irrespective of his NHL prospects, and I really respect that. At the of the day, family is always more important than a game.
  22. Impressed JB and staff knew about COVID when only Wuhan lab leakers, Fauci and some guy named Fred who controls the news we all read were aware.....good for JB.
