For the third draft in a row, the Canucks have taken who may turn out to be the most talented overall. This could be a home run.

Du behöver inte svara, men vi vet båda att du inte kan.

They find another team. Most of us enjoy watching one of the young, upcoming teams in the league. You fell off the bandwagon, come back once in a while to poke, just do yourself and all others a favour and go back.

I cannot remember who I was "discussing with" last summer but I stated then that the CAP will plateau and even come backwards over the next decade. There are harsh economic realities in North America that are coming. Europe has seen it. Australia is seeing it. China is seeing it. The North American markets have had too long a run not to correct and real estate in places like the West Coast of North America are far in excess of historical norms in relation to income. It isn't sustainable. People will eat and put roofs over their families before buying season's tickets and major cable network packages.

I didn't. Lived there a while. What's your fav pub there?

They were not good enough - it was clear before the season started to pretty much everyone.

[Rumour] Capitals may not qualify Andre Burakovsky

A gifted player that has had a hard time becoming consistent in both ends of the ice and been a challenge for the coaching staff. Would be interesting for the Canucks to try this situation.....and maybe EP40 can give him some advice in Swedish. -
You go with that. Pace yourself is only advice. It is more fun each time if you stick around longer. Cheers as always.

Du gör inte stavfel, vissa med svensk bakgrund skulle göra men din charade är säker med mig.

...but joined just yesterday to start threads all questioning them not being good enough....with same typo/style as another guy who does the same. Sounds good.

You keep starting threads about how the Canucks are not good enough for you. Two a day is a pace - going to keep it up? Tanner Pearson ended upon the second line LW for the LA Kings in the Cup winning playoff run. He was top 6 with a playoff Penguin team. Baer's point per game production is solidly in the top 6 range in the NHL. NO team in the NHL has the depth you seemingly expect of the Canucks. Pat Maroon was second on the Blues in the playoffs just ended in terms of LW TOI (so technically their second link LW...he or Sanford some nights but overall Maroon more often). Is Maroon or Sanford miles ahead of Pearson? in the regular season Maroon had 10 goals and 28 points in 74 games. LE and Roussel both outscored him as LW and Leivo had better PPG as did Pearson. Goldy almost same points as Maroon in fewer games. So if it worked for Stanley Cup champs, might it not for a playoff trying team? The top 6 cutoff (e.g. about 60th) for LW in the NHL last year was 29 points. For RW it was 25 points (ironically, Jake Virtanen was the NHL's 60th highest point achieving RW this past season). Pearson and Baer easily will clear that hurdle if they play 70 plus games and those who would step in if they cannot seem also capable of that bar clearance. Not sure what you mean by "average" for the bottom six as clearly you want the answer to be "no" but as Sutter could be third line center for almost any team in the NHL save perhaps four or five and Beagle was the same position for the SC Champs just a season ago, the middle looks good. Virtanen is top 6 material points wise already (bottom admittedly) and so are LE and Goldy so statistically, your need to show Canucks not "up to it" is lacking as the bottom six have a bunch who are top 6 in scoring (near bottom admittedly but in there) with two centers who clearly belong. Does that mean they will make playoffs? Just to annoy you, sure they can.

This is the summeriest summer ever on CDC - and it is officially not summer in Canada for another 9 hours in the west.

10th Overall: 2019 CDC Draft Consensus
Rob_Zepp replied to funkyfresh's topic in Prospects / Farm Team
Ironic statement? -
Just over two weeks. Been looking good by all accounts.
-
Would be nice for CDC to consider one overall thread for the "We hate Benning" crowd to let that handful little bags of hate to wallow in their whine together.

Making a strong run for a playoff spot would shut up a number of them (granted not all as they have an axe to grind). Being in another lottery pick position will just give them more ammo.
-
Well i think if the Nucks miss the playoffs again, Benning is gone so problem solved!
-
You’d still troll it zep.
The sunshine and lollipops everything Benning does is solid gold crowd.
maybe a thread for for the Benning can do no wrong crowd so they can go agree with everything their told to think by there lord and saviour. Lol.

You have seen it before with your previous handle. Simply deja vu for you.

Rhetorical question? The rest of your post is your answer. Wow, just wow. Oh, and if you are going to get a prospect's era wrong as you did with Adam Gaudette (he was drafted by Benning and co. in the fifth round of 2015 draft where Boeser was taken at 23), at least spell his name correctly.

Good Gawd I miss the minus. PLEASE Mods!

What on earth are you trying to say/manufacture here? The Canucks management team seem very active by all accounts and they are prioritizing moves with existing personnel while they kick tires on deals. Why on earth would this make you "afraid". Afraid of what? Are you an Oilers fan and are afraid a Western rival is showing you with all your first overall and much higher draft picks over past 10 years that rebuilding can happen? I am not sure you understand that someone "doing" their job also allow them to continue doing that job is not the same as someone "saving" their job. It is not something to save if it is not a risk due to good performance. What is the fixation with drama creation the past few days on CDC?

Source and purity is critical.

Well done. It is difficult for many but well done in getting most of the way there. Have you had bloodwork lately? Check your HDL/LDL totals and ratio too and perhaps tweak your protein/carb ratio with doctor's input but don't cut out all carbs like I see some people doing. I cannot believe some of the crap people are doing to themselves. Final point on definition from own experience, push yourself once a week in terms of weight versus reps but no more than once a week (even once every 10 days). Psych up for it and treat it as a chance to set your all-time values. I have gotten over plateaus a number of times doing this.
