Ya, no question.
I was told something when I was just starting in hockey by a coach and it has stuck. He told me to always be a fan of the game - no matter where the game took me - and to pick teams to follow and cheer for and remember that true fans cheer (with class) when their team wins but cheer harder when their team is on harder times as that is when they need the lift more. After that series in Vancouver, and epic run and a few calls/injuries away from an entirely different outcome, true fans would have cheered their heroes off the ice (perhaps with tears) and those outside would have looked for Bruin fans to congrat them with class and shared a beer or three. That is what sport is supposed to be about.
Cheers
