  1. Boston is a GREAT town....waterfront area, comedy clubs and awesome music joints. Harvard and MIT are just train stops apart and the people are not only very friendly, they have great senses of humour. I actually find it one of the friendliest big cities in the United States. One thing though - the Cheers bar is a scam....walk in and it looks NOTHING like the show (lol).
  2. Whoa, don't get too deep. This sounds like "Inception"...... Anyway, I was just joking so please if I offended you, it wasn't intended. This is very early in the morning for me and I went to bed late so functioning on coffee and a couple of microwaved breakfast burritos that may meet some definition of "food"....so just ignore me and enjoy the game!
  3. Hey, well done. Impressed. Takes a real man to apologize on an anonymous chat forum. Impressed. Cheers
  4. It said "just now" and there had not been a shot for three minutes so felt it was pretty safe to say....unless you are posting from black hole.
  5. I guess for some fans this will be missing to unless Boston has its own riot tonight....
  6. It would be incredibly frustrating to play against that style. The speed is impressive too and without many whistles, Boston cannot easily change the momentum and it will more and more frustration as they look up at the clock that continues to move. Been there - horrible feeling but you are more or less helpless. Boston doesn't score before end of the period, they need to have the "locker room" chat for the ages and stop waiting around for and individual break and start working more like a team. Not seeing a lot of that this morning from the Bruins.
  7. Off of 8 shots and there are two goals - what happened to the other two shots? BTW - this game is such a sucky time but watching and very impressed with Blues forecheck. It is relentless.
  8. Hughes is a truly unique talent and though Dahlin is the most traditional Dman and clearly the more NHL ready and likely a superstar, in some ways where Hughes goes may be more interesting in terms of career as he may change the way his entire team plays and create so many zone coverage issues for other teams as he won't do what traditional logic will say he would do. Could see him by season three or five being a perennial top three or four in team scoring like some Dmen were back in the 80s on the upper teams.
  9. He got more comfortable last two weeks of season and ended up with 12 points in 19 games and even with the slow start that is a 52 point pace. In today’s NHL that is solidly top 6.
  10. Ya, no question. Pretty pathetic but the two current in North America are idiots and need to go
  11. Sorry you wasted all these words for me to say “I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong”.
  12. If course not but kid has near highest end skill in entire draft

  14. I think if the Canucks take Marleau's contract too then you have proposed something that could benefit both teams.
  15. I take it you have an insecurity about your size. PS - not to worry you too much as the Boston Bruins are one of the shortest and lightest teams in the NHL....Vancouver, not so much so you have a small team that is having success you can now identify with. Hope this has helped you.
  16. Yes, because hockey is not a team game - it is played by individuals without any consideration of how the whole can be greater than the parts.
  17. Logan Lucky on a flight. Really fun. A solid 8 plus and great acting all around. Very clever movie.
