Hardwell was amazing, so much energy and he played some new stuff to. I was kind of disappointed with the event overall, not a fan of all ages, I know they do it to make money and sell out but this event still would have sold out if it was 19+. There were way too many kids and people that couldn't handle their alcohol/drugs not to mention all the dbags that weren't even there for the music. All that said it was still worth it, Hardwell was fantastic. I heard he even came out and posed for pics with fans outside following the show, posed with everyone that waited.

Hardwell will be there in time and is flying in on a private jet and coming straight from the airport to the Coliseum. All the rumors are false and there has been nothing said from the official Hardwell website or twitter.

Stop trolling the thread. Kaskade was amazing, I didn't rly like RL Grimes set, too much hip hop, Bingo Players would have topped everything off but it's tragic what happened, I liked how they honored Paul, all in all a great night and it blew last years event out of the water.

So stoked for Contact next week and then Hardwell the week after.

Going to Kaskade and Hardwell. Can't wait!

Buying my tickets Monday as well, EDC 2013 was one of the best experiences of my life. I agree about the shuttles, might even be worth it to take a cab with 4 ppl. Picking up tickets at will call was hell, anyone know if they'll send tickets this year? I might get mine shipped otherwise.

Changed my plans, going to Freaknight Fri/Sat, back home for Dooms on Sunday. Gonna be an unreal weekend.

Anyone know if they're selling single day passes for Contact or if they can be bought off people? I refuse to pay to see Skillrex even if it is Dada with them. Looks like I can't make Freaknight, so going to Dooms. Hopefully Tiesto live is as good as I hear he is.

Still can't believe they got Tiesto for Dooms, wonder how long his set will be? Really hope it's not just 45 mins, they gotta have him on for at least an hour and a half in my opinion but lets wait and see.

It's Tiesto for Dooms but it'll be a 2 night event with Saturday being the all nighter till 8am and then Sunday being from 7pm-1am, Tiesto will play an hour and a half set on Sunday apparently. Tickets start at 150$. I'm torn, don't know if I should go to Freaknight or Dooms. I hate the fact that Dooms is all ages.

Doubt it'll sell out right away, getting phase 1 tix is always nice thoug. I'm an insomniac, never sleep too much for whatever reason.

Hate that it was all ages but Cazzette and Gareth were fantastic. So happy the Alesso show in November is gonna be 19+

Anyone else go to Life in Color? Thought Cazette and Gareth were both fantastic, great event and a really different experience, happy I went. Heard a rumor Tiesto might be headlining Dooms night this year and it maybe held at BC Place. I already got my Freaknight tix so I hope this doesn't happen cause i'll be torn. Also Alesso will be in Vancouver Sunday Nov 10th, can't freakin wait to see him live again.

I'll definitely be rocking some shades, I Youtubed the other artists and they're alright but nothing special. Apparently the whole Life in Color production is supposed to be amazing. I'm really curious to see how they pull this off at Pacific Coliseum. I missed Gareth at EDC and then at Celebs, the 70$ ticket price to see him alone should be worth it, that's what they charged at Celebs.

I'm gonna cheap clothes for it and i'm not familiar at all with anyone except Gareth. Should be fun regardless, definitely gonna be a different experience.

I can't see him coming back until next year. Might make the Kelowna trip, hopefully he's at EDC, he was on the list of artists but then tweeted that he wasn't going to make it, apparently they're trying to get him to perform. Guetta would be great with some solid openers. I wonder who they'll get to headline Contact 2013? That's if they even decide to do it again, hopefully they do, BC Place looked unreal.

They need to have another big show in Van in August or September, been awhile. Who would you all like to see? I'm hoping for Kaskade

Less then 2 weeks till EDC Vegas, i've been waiting for this moment for so long, can't believe it's almost here. Also if anyone is interested Cedric Gervais is coming to Celebs July 12th, only 15$, can't go wrong there.

Didn't know myself about it till recently, it's called Center of Gravity festival and there's all these sporting events going on and music at night in Kelowna for 3 days, Aug 2nd-4th, Kaskade and Dada Life play Friday night and then Tiesto plays Sunday night. There's a bunch of other acts to but those are the only notable EDM artists.
