  1. Was there a recent system update that includes the ability to watch videos off the USB in the media player?

    I went into my PS4 settings and went to system update and my last update was in late April and it says it's up to date :S

    Its not a system update.

    I heard this too..

    Apparently some protein supplement companies were caught underfilling their products. Instead of 100% whey it would be like 50 to 75 and the rest was all weak amino acids/fillers.

    That is why I started to buy 100% unflavored whey protein in bulk with no added fillers at bulk barn

    What some people don't understand is protein shakes are supplements..and are not meant to be your main source of protein.

    1 or 2 scoops a day is fine if you mix with whole foods, but 10 scoops a day and a crappy diet is bad.

    Few other things I was told.

    ON is really good at marketing, that's why its reviewed as the number 1 protein everywhere, easily found promo codes and they were recently acquired by a chinese company. Now, it is unclear where the product is coming from and how it is made.

  3. Doing weight training 6 days a week right now + hike on sunday. Down from 188lbs to 174lbs, losing a lot of fat in a month and a half. Looking to cut further down to 160-165 where I will then start bulking when I'm toned.

    Bought a new protein. PVL Iso-Gold Chocolate. Hands down the greatest tasting protein and great protein ratio per scoop. 27g of protein on a 31g scoop. Popeye clerk explained to me why ON Gold Standard was bad, definitely will be sticking away from that stuff now.

  4. Free transit for the rest of the day do little good for transit riders who have monthly passes.

    Nothing beats a car for convenience unless you have a bus stop in the front of your house. You could go anytime you want and can ride in comfort since there are no guarantee you will have a seat on a crowded bus.

  5. cardio does not cancel muscle gain. You need to make sure you're getting enough food to counteract the cardio. Also be conscious of how fatigue your body is, if your goal is muscle gain then i wouldn't do a 5k more than twice a week, especially because it fatigues your legs which (in my opinion) need to be worked at least two days of the week.

    A mass muscle gain isn't so much of my goal as becoming lean. I guess I am more worried about losing muscle from cardio.

    I'm going to try the early morning runs. Maybe not 5k in the end but at least 30 minutes. We'll see if I can do 5 days. If not I'll do 3 days for sure.

    I want to incorporate cardio in the morning, probably 5k run and weights in the evening.

    Are there any negatives with doing a lot of cardio at a different time of the day and then weights later on?

    Does a lot of cardio cancel out muscle gain?
