  1. We’re either going to get shutout four times or we’re going to win the series. The problem is either outcome seems about equally possible
  2. No real reason to push here. Game tomorrow and as long as the Canucks come out like they did in the first period of this game they’re ahead 9/10 times
  3. Get all of the bounces while the opposing coach gets none is a pretty successful strategy.
  4. Canucks need to treat the start of every game like they’re already down 1-0. If they score one they’ll be just fine. If they don’t it really doesn’t matter how many they let in.
  5. It’ll be like this the entire series. The first goal is the hardest to get on Lehner. He’s a Vezina candidate until one beats him but he falls back human almost immediately if he does get beat.
  6. Well at least we're not only dominating because of a big PP discrepancy anymore. Just gotta find the first goal on Lehner and the rest will come. Or he'll shut us out again and who cares how many Vegas scores
  7. It’s that combined with the fact they don’t want to have a game competing with the Kentucky Derby apparently.
  8. I have no issues with the shutdown. I have issues with the league's inability to use the time to fix the schedule and in fact making it worse by unbalancing the schedules within the conferences. Before the shutdown both East series had 2 back to backs, which is already ridiculous while the West only had 1 for both series. Now after the shutdown one East series would have 2 and one West series would have 2. If the Vancouver/Vegas series goes 7 that team would be playing its third game in 4 nights for Game 1 of the Conference Final while Tampa/Boston would have 3 days off after a game 7 before their game 1, Philly/New York would have 1 day off but only be playing 3 in 5 and ditto 3 in 5 for Colorado/Dallas. ....The obvious answer is the Canucks need to just handle business 3 games in a row though
  9. Correct. But as I said they took the protest and completely missed the mark on the push for equality and social justice.. #VancouverandLasVegasandBostonandTampaBayPlayersMatter
  10. That doesn’t explain Tampa/Boston potentially having two back to backs as well (theyve already had one set)
  11. Only the NHL would take a protest over social injustice and turn around and create injustice for its own teams/fans. Two series with one back to back and two series with two. How is that competitive balance?
  12. I'm super interested to see how they're going to handle keeping the competitive balance since they were trying to get games done as quickly as possible already.
  13. The roller coaster of a birthday game took another two hard turns today and back to a no. FML.
  14. "Huh... hello? Uh, offside if the goal was going to be for Vancouver..... Wait the players are doing WHAT?!"
  15. How is the NHL mismanaging this so badly? There's no way Dumba and Kane wanted the NHL to hold the fans hostage with this protest. Grow a pair and make your announcement already NHL
  16. I was more speaking to if they're doing a 1 or 2 day pause. I can't imagine Kane or Dumba intended for this to keep fans hostage. However, keeping the schedule the same actually creates a balance problem as suddenly the Flyers and Islanders have one fewer back to back on their schedule.
  17. Still no actual word from the NHL on the gameplan. They're quickly falling into the NBA's problem of yesterday.
  18. And now they're talking about pushing off two days but Dregs is sticking with 1. Figure it out NHL
