  1. LOL...and after all the Zeppelin talk this comes up on my workout playlist. Suck it surgery, I'm back. My ex's first ever gift to m when we were teenagers was this book. Back when we thought we were the only 2 people on earth who knew about Zeppelin (we really did).
  2. The corn starch shortage is starting to tick me off.

As a teenager, I remember this....crawling into the house, trying to avoid the parent party going on.
  4. Sesame Street was brilliant...loved that my kids could watch it but there was always an underlying adult element to be found. The ONE show I could watch with my kids without it being painful. This is the song that never ennnnnnnnds........ (ahhh)
  5. During periods of frustration (aka losing) many teams have internal flare ups...happens. Not too concerned about it. Want teams that "care" vs accept it...this is just a sign of guys who do care. It vents outward at times.
  6. Just read this....I'd love for him to end up here. But don't think it'll happen or the Rangers will give up on him so easily. His healthy scratch was likely more to send him a message but it's usually step one in the process. Don't know that they're there yet. I'd hate for Bo to be the piece in that though. We'll really miss him when he's gone, but if he wants out I can't really blame him. Closer to "home" too.
  7. Bought (another) G & R t shirt yesterday. I never tire of these guys.
  8. And even if you do It's really up to you We won't always all agree So here's to you and here's to me Or...another toast I learned years ago: Here's to you and here's to me The best of friends we'll always be But if by chance we disagree [Screw] you! Here's to me! Cheers for the New Year everyone.
  9. Yes because there's a guy that went all out.....when there was an empty net and the puck was 3mm away from him. Go Loui! Like Bieksa, I can't defend the lackadaisical stuff either but I, too, love the fire. If it was JUST indifference, sure. But JT's driven by emotion and passion that can also help the team so it balances out. Right now?....not so much. But I, like a handful of others, think he'll turn it around. As long as he contributes, I can accept some of the flaws. Expecting more from him.
  10. Practicing what I preach, that's all. When things are miserable and bleak I...take a time out. Just as I suggest to others to do at times. Get away from it all rather than b and moan and recycle the same old. Had a nice day with family...food, poker game. Opted to do something positive. JT'll be just fine and so will I. Just disconnecting from the back/forth tug of war in it all. I tend to get a little worked up and wordy so trying to do it a bit differently. For sanity's sake. Cheers. (John Bonham was my favourite...saw him way back in the day)
  11. Not going to be easy but a game to really look forward to. Eases the pain of the Canucks situation lately...a good distraction from it all.
  12. "Still waiting for our first goal"? Do these guys even watch the game? Or just chat and eat popcorn?
