My luck is awful....bashed my thumb as the phone was ringing....missed the call....just found out it was for tickets for tonight's game and they're now gone. Hate this day already.

Just drank sour milk. Best Before should really read Disgusting After for accuracy purposes. It's the 28th, right?

It's what leaders do Deb. This didn't happen in a far corner of the world. it happened in the heart of our democracy. I would bet that Corporal Cirillo's mom was briefed about what may be done, & was onboard, and Corporal Cirillo's son will have many sentiments sent his way that he will have a lifetime to reveiw. We have funerals not because someone died, but because they lived. Do you not believe that which was said was reflecting any of the Corporal's views?

Wow, pretty powerful statement by Peter DeGroot's sister. Compelling.

I all seriousness,..yes, it seemed that despite all of the appeals for understanding from DeGroots friends, family & neighbours saying that he was unstable & needed help not punishment,..little effort was made by the police to reach-out to him through intermediaries or in a non-aggressive once he had been located.
-
Do you think that the belief that DeGroot had a "clear & distinct hatred of the police" caused, this situation? The RCMP officiers & supervisors who behaved aggressively did so, in the wake of the 'Moncton shootings'. This seems to have been a pre-emptive take-out of an armed suspect,..and the decision was likely made due to the heightened fears of supervisors, who then dictated aggressive instructions to their officiers in the field.

Oh, come on dups, try harder. We'll see where this goes.
