  1. I think your prediction's about right, along with the "jitters out" thing. I also think France came out with everything but will lose some pace (already are). And I agree about Schenn, wow.
  2. Burr in the box for a trip. PK. Aw damn, France scores first.
  3. Bieksa rifles a shot, hits Turris. Ouch. Some hits being dished out, yesss.
  4. PP, let's make this count early boys. Coho. I'm talking to you.
  5. At this rate France'll run out of gas about halfway through the game. They've come out with jump.
  6. France gooning it up lol. No worries, TL. It's my job (official hockey freak). Welcome.
  7. Ready for puck drop...damn this work nonsense getting in the way of my hockey. Should catch most of it...let's go boys!!
  8. We were letting "potential picks" stand as topics of discussion....not much else happening.
  9. PI now officially reviewable via video replay. http://cfl.ca/article/board-of-governors-approve-all-rule-changes
  10. "Wadda I tell ya folks, that Bieska is the best" Getting my jersey back out of the closet now....
  11. This is such a nod in his favour...well deserved. Way to go, Juice! Can hardly wait for tomorrow morning, woo!
  12. There comes a point when it becomes arguing for argument's sake. People have varying opinions and that's ok - nothing is proven when you're projecting future success of prospects and so there really isn't much point of an argument and it should remain discussion, with comparisons and a look at past performance. In doing that, let's keep it respectful and keep in mind that this isn't really worth fighting about as it's out of our hands anyhow? Sure, present the pros/cons but if someone disagrees, let it go if you hit a stalemate. Overkill folks.
  13. Thanks guys for the updates...stuck at work, can't watch.
  14. Done deal, it's official. http://www.bclions.com/article/lions-welcome-back-khalif-mitchell Just hope he can keep his nose to the grindstone and not get involved in the off the cuff controversial stuff that's a distraction and inapprorpriate. He's a beast, so would rather have him on our side than lining up against us.
  15. Good job Letang...glad to see there's no residue from his ordeal.

Aw, sorry to hear it nux. My Mom had one too and survived but was paralyzed. In the end, it was brain cancer that got her. My F.I.L. also had one at my home...he didn't survive either, it was awful. The only saving grace was I'd delayed them to send leftovers home with them and they would have been on the highway if not.

So I hear you re the scariest thing ever for sure.

  16. Did they (rioters) pay that day to get into the building? Did the people who threw the bottle? Who would you classify as "fans" if you had to compare the two? Anyhow, the fans rioted how long ago? How about we focus on the here and now...we've paid our dues in this city for that atrocity. Let's talk about the Bruins now because the last time I checked, the Canucks aren't even in this thing.
  17. I don't think they are "all" bad, but I think, overall, they're collectively some of the worst in hockey. Not every single one, but their track record speaks for itself. It's not my dubbing them that makes it so, it's the ongoing stuff that SOME of their fans do. And we take shots all the time from those who hate on Canucks and their fans. We take it and can also dish it if warranted. Let us have our moment, shall we?
  18. That wasn't in the arena, it's different. Those are people who showed up downtown with an agenda that was to get crazy. The people in the rink paid, as fans, to go cheer on their team and are chanting when players are hurt, throwing stuff, etc. The fans in the rink chanted when Raymond was down with a broken back...you'd think they'd have learned from that. To curb some of that because they could be wrong and look stupid. But they don't care, they continue. I do agree about lumping all fans in together but the keyboard warriors were not setting up Bruins' fans. c'mon. Those were angry Bruins' fans who let 'er rip. Don't let them off the hook.
