  1. I love cheese. I miss cheese. I'll start easing it back into rotation soon...it just makes things better. I bought some nice cheeses for Christmas.
  2. I like the sound of what you're having...but I'm avoiding cheese at the moment. I miss it, but I'm easing back in. I've been to 2 stores lately and neither had ANY low fat cheese. I had pasta last night...chicken, mushrooms, onions, grape tomatoes, garlic and a bit of carrot (used up what I had in the fridge).
  3. LOL...when I took my vows the video shows me stumbling/pausing when the priest asked me to repeat a promise to "obey" my husband. Uhhhhhh...
  4. Keep it rolling, Canucks. I find I really do get "down" when we lose...mostly all the negativity that swirls everywhere. And wins just feel better. I kind of miss Benning (had posted that but deleted it....damn, VC's fast!)
  5. That Halestorm singer really giving off Pat Benatar vibes for me...sounds a lot like her.
  6. I don't want my team to try to tank but if it happens naturally...silver lining.
  7. We can maybe get a potential pick for a player who potentially works out. I'll cheer for wins.
  8. Awwwwwww my daughter from another mother just sent me pics...she and Burr (from right now). He's in town for the game and she got the bigggggest hug. They're pals.

    1. Odd.

      Odd.

so he is a damn hugger.

  9. I hadn't seen this....no wonder Brock was so emotional after his goal. What a roller coaster ride this year's been.
  10. When you say "for the right price" there may be a cost in that you're not factoring in though. It's not a given upgrade.
  11. I agree. And they're developing a good sense of where the other'll be and what they'll do. "Chemistry". Matters.
  12. Petey's an anomaly. No one's quite like Petey. That's one guy...as I said, many others need to work on it. Petey isn't one of them...as he's already done the work and it's showing. It's not just cardio...it's the toll a physical game takes on the body.
  13. Those two together...aren't they fun to watch? I LOVE the way they connect and it's becoming a real thing. Neither can go...nope.
  14. The one thing people don't really understand is...how hard it is to play that physical game (live on the glass gives a good perspective). Sure, he looks lazy but he invests a LOT of energy out there on offense. Last night, for instance, on the pp...he's one of the guys moving around...trying to reposition and change things up a bit. He is physical in the offensive zone and, at times, maybe he's depleted more than lazy. I don't argue that it HAS to improve and that some of these plays are him "just giving up". I just think we have to be fair and think of the energy he does invest in offense and that sometimes he's just gassed.
  15. The weather also factors in as people were trapped in that nightmare after the Tuesday night game and sat for HOURS on the highways. Plus, with Christmas on the horizon many are budgeting for that. Sure, some will drop away but this fanbase is pretty solid. It's not like we haven't been through adversity before....we still love hockey here.
