https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/kris-letang-stroke-out-indefinitely-pittsburgh-penguins-1.1886431 "Kris reported symptoms to the training staff on Monday and was immediately taken to the hospital for testing," said Hextall. "The test results were shocking to hear, but we are grateful that Kris is doing well. We are thankful to the medical staff and the physicians at UMPC. He is a warrior on the ice, but first and foremost, he is a son, father, husband and friend. His health is our number one priority." The Montreal, Que. native missed over two months of the 2014 season due to a stroke. At the time, testing reveal that he was born with a very small hole in the wall of his heart. He has played 543 regular season games and 69 playoff games since his initial stroke. "I am fortunate to know my body well enough to recognize when something isn't right," said Letang. "While it is difficult to navigate this issue publicly, I am hopeful it can raise awareness. It is important for me that my teammates, family and the fans know that I am okay. I am optimistic that I will be back on the ice soon."

3-2 Canucks Miller -
Workplace drama is the worst but if there's toxicity there, get the hell away from our team. Fix it, fast. No room for ego or cliques....management "team" and that means working together. Sounds like some catty stuff but even that is concerning. Seriously....these are all fairly new hires and to have our team name being blasted out everywhere in a negative way reflects on the entire management team. Get your sh together. Fast. All of a sudden JB seems low maintenance.

You still on about Miller? Round ll and it's getting a little worn out. I mean, he's here and he's a big part of why we find success when things are trending downward. Not sure some here appreciate that (at all). Plus, if/when we ARE in the playoffs, you need guys like JT. -

The beauty of it is...it isn't OUR worry to carry. People who get paid big money will have to sort that stuff out and we're just along for the ride. When you have anxiety, you learn to live in the moment and not project into the future. Many here could benefit from some meditation and other techniques to rid themselves of the constant looking to the future with worry. We have every right to enjoy what we're seeing...it's why we watch. I question others' motives though....to wait until they can have their "aha, I was right moment"? We've suffered enough...through COVID (and, for some of us, surgery, etc.)....some of us just want to enjoy hockey. Not dissect, analyze and only critique it. Sucks the joy out of it. I'm glad we have members here who celebrate our success rather than sweat it. That game last night could've very easily turned into another one of "those" endings, but didn't. Wins feel good and we shouldn't have to apologize for them. -

I hate it when people write us off so easily. It's the "safe" bet...to say we might get there but not do much. But making "aren't"/definitive statements is for losers. When you beat teams like Colorado and Vegas you do stand a chance. I know, I know...series are gruelling and the big bad boys will out muscle us. But all it takes is for them to limp in maybe a bit beat up (injuries do not discriminate) and us having some momentum. These guys aren't getting pushed around as easily and teams learn that, sure, they can come at us but they'll end up in the box and then we can make them pay in other ways. We have a nice mix of speed, skill and even some guys who'll crash and bang out there (Bo, Miller, Schenn, Burroughs, etc.). Playoffs are a weird beast, so much factors in that isn't on paper. If we get there, we're close (enough).
