  1. According to the 4th period - The Devils are trying to convince Taylor Hall to sign a long term extension. Multiple well placed sources have said that the 27 year old is not interested in signing an extension with the team.

Sounds like Hall is on his way out one way or another.

He's better suited for the East.  Has trouble keeping his head up and avoiding big open ice hits.  Great player, but likely to get hurt in this conference.

650 is talking about Hall right now.  They are saying that Hall is close with Jack Hughes and even works out with him.  What is going on in Jersey for Hall to want to leave, even with Hughes coming?  Unless Hall got wind that the Devils are leaning towards drafting Kakko?

@Alflives  Hall says that NJD has the culture that is conducive to winning but that they lack talent.  Shero agrees with Hall and says that his off-season priority will be to add talent.  Getting number 1 is a start.  Hall and Shero have very open discussions and right now are not ready to talk extension.  Hall wants to first make sure that the Devils can become contenders before committing long term.

There's no hurry to get a deal done and Shero understands why Hall wants to first see what they do this off-season.

LeBrun just last week in the Athletic:

"But at this hour, there’s no reason to believe Hall isn’t interested in entering negotiations. There certainly hasn’t been any indication otherwise."
