  1. Nope, gotta get into the endzone from within the 20, Lions failed on those. Also can't believe Banks is partially blaming the crowd noise for the miscommunications on the Lions D. Give me a break, crowd noise hardly phased the Stamps. When BC had the ball the crowd was pretty quit. Lost a little respect for Banks on that comment.
  2. A few things from the game: The idiot who threw the flare on the field... **** You! Cant believe they gave the "craziest fan at the game" thing to a fan wearing a Lions Dave Dickinson jersey. Total blasphemy. Tim Brown needs to go! Looked very weak on returns, could have used a huge return on Sunday. Lulay should have been pulled for Reilly. He just didn't have it on Sunday. When he wasn't tossing 5 yard passes, he was throwing into double coverage or nobody. Gotta wonder if his shoulder is still screwed, definitely didn't have the snap in his passes. Lots of missed calls against Calgary and some very bull**** pass interference calls and non pass interference calls. Secondary looked weak, very weak. Still haven't seen a decent angle on Calgary's 3rd down TD, but I still don't buy it. No way it was reviewed before the convert being kicked. I don't usually get angry at the games, but that one made me really pissed off. The fact the Lions only lost by 5 totally shows that they threw the game away.
  3. No it wasn't, they had over 2000 more this year than last year. Attendance is down this year all around the league. Moneys tight these days. Lions also need to make the upper bowl more affordable. Charging the same price to sit in Level 2 and level 4 is just ridiculous. Upper bowl should be 1/2 or so of the lower bowl.
  4. Anyone have any experiences using a Bowflex? Are they any good?

Try going to the gym for a month straight first to see if you can stay dedicated.

You don't want to buy bowflex & only use it every other week. It's a pretty expensive mistake.

  5. A message from head coach Mike Benevides It’s playoff time and your BC Lions are proud to host the Western Final this Sunday, November 18th at BC Place – the place PRIDE calls home! The match-up is now set and we will be taking on our West Division rivals, the Calgary Stampeders to determine which team will have the honour of playing in the 100th Grey Cup Championship game. It’s one game. One goal: defend our cup with PRIDE! We hold a remarkable 15-1 record at the new BC Place and it is no secret that it is because of the home-field advantage that you – our loyal fans bring to the building. That is why I want to invite you to continue that home-field advantage as we strive to accomplish our goal of becoming 2012 Grey Cup Champions! Playoff fever is taking hold of our great province and the city of Vancouver. Tickets are going fast for the Western Final and I encourage you to get yours today. We look forward to seeing you there, dressed in orange, and cheering us on to victory. Thanks for your outstanding support! Go Lions Go! 6. Heard this from my Physiotherapist, GREAT news! What a wimp though, with the size of his ego you'd think he would just tough it out.
  7. Heard about this earlier. What an idiot! After the hoopla that was made over Khalifs twitter comment, you would think he would know better. You can pretty much guarantee he knew about it, and I would bet that coaches around the league used it as an example of what not to do on their twitter accounts. Calgary looks weak by only giving him a fine. I know it's a huge game but he deserves a suspension.* *(Might be a little much, but I'd rather see him not play on Sunday) Hell, bench him for his poor grammar!
  8. There is no way the Stamps D hold the Lions offense to 17 points, especially when healthy.
  9. Looks like a lot more than just the 3 rows are sold, corners maybe. Trust me, the place will still be rocking. Expect to see around 42,000 for the game. Lions really need to change their pricing structure for upper bowl tickets. They charge the same price to sit on the 50 yard line for first row as they do to sit in the bleeds. Should reduce upper bowl seats by half to get people into the stadium.
  10. I'm really pulling for the guy. As I've mentioned before, he was my favorite wrestler as a kid. Watching his meltdowns over the years weren't easy to watch. One of the old schooler's that WWF just threw away and forgot about.
  11. Also explains why they have the worst winning percentage in Grey Cup History: 18 Grey Cup appearances and only 3 wins, LOL!
  12. WOW!! What a finish in the Stamps game. Glad that I don't have to see the Riders at BC Place again this year.
  13. Abbotsford Heat game on SNP tonight at 7pm

  14. yeah, I was actually just going to post it after I read it in the paper. What an idiot! They had 41,000 last year. Hopefully they will get more this year since the Canucks aren't playing. Wish more people would take the time to go to a game and see how much fun they are.
  15. I hear Mitt Romney was so pissed off after losing the election that he strapped Paul Ryan to the roof of his car

  21. Plummeting rating, weak attendance, and crappy crowd reactions. WWE just doesn't seem to get the obvious. The product stinks! -------------------------------------------------- - WWE officials weren't pleased with the crowd reactions at last night's RAW in Charlotte, North Carolina. That's two nights in a row as they were very down on the Hell In a Cell crowd in Atlanta on Sunday night.
  22. I read somewhere that Ryback has some really decent mic skills. Hopefully WWE will let him speak even more.
  23. Pierce just needs to hang it up before he ends up a cripple. --------------------------------------------------- Buck Pierce to miss final Bombers game with shoulder injury Buck Pierce has played his last game this season for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He injured his shoulder and heads a long list of players hurt in Saturday’s rain-soaked 28-18 loss in Hamilton. With the loss, Winnipeg has no chance to make the playoffs but will play one more game this weekend at home against Montreal. Interim head coach Tim Burke says it’s also uncertain whether No. 1 backup Joey Elliott can start since he banged up his knee Saturday. The Bombers will also be without their two best running backs — Chad Simpson and Will Ford — and receivers Terrence Edwards and Isaac Anderson. At this point, they don’t expect Johnny Sears to play either, which once again opens a hole at strong-side linebacker.
