  1. When you eat lead paint chips it causes a poor memory.
  2. No. Honestly after the way the organization has gone over the past few years, I need a season off. Living where I do, having season tickets is a huge time commitment. You add the mediocre play and lack of fans, it gets very tiring. When I started being a season ticket holder the Lions were averaging 35,000 or so. Last season was maybe 18,000. My bet this year they'll average maybe 15,000. I'll likely still go to 3-4 games, but it feels good right now not to be committed to going to games. Yeah, they played at Empire right beside the PNE grounds. As goalie13 mentioned it was just a temporary stadium. Had a blast at the games but it was a real pain to get to and the facilities sucked. Amazing views though.
  3. I have to laugh when he says he has proven that he could play in the NFL and dominate. If that was really the case he would still be playing in the NFL. At any rate, he isn't wrong about the experience of playing at BC Place. I personally love the stadium, mostly because my season tickets used to be in the club lounge, but the place is too big for the current fan support. I gave up my tickets this year partially for that reason. The other reason is the time and effort it takes to attend games when the team has mostly played like crap for the past few seasons.
  4. LOL! at the new title. I thought the cancellation was an all but done deal. Further proof the OP is clueless.
  5. So I found this a little interesting. Tommy Dreamer was wrestling in ASW over the weekend. Wrestled at the Wise Hall and in Cloverdale. At the event in Cloverdale Tommy mentioned that with ASW that he would be bringing House of Hardcore to Cloverdale. Last night The Tommy Dreamer announced that House of Hardcore in partnership with All Star Wrestling Inc. will be coming to the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. Date will be announced soon. Stay Tuned! Could be interesting.
  6. Actually that is not a bad idea. Hear me out. I was reading a story in a local paper a couple years back. They interviewed a drug addict on the Surrey strip a few years back. She mentioned she had 4 kids or so. All were taken away because of her drug addiction. No doubt many born drug addicted. I only say that because she was currently pregnant hoping her baby would be OK. She OD'd only a few days earlier. In fact, she had OD'd a couple times during the current pregnancy. I highly doubt any of her children will become productive members of society. Do you not agree, that after a certain point, she should have been forced to have her tubes tied? If not, what answer do you have?
  7. Happy I dumped some of my coins last month. Really starting to wonder if I should just dump all and call it a day. Could put a very large dent in my mortgage. Then there is that part of me that made the decision years ago to hold and see where it goes. Though I did somewhat break that rule already. Should be an interesting 2018.
  8. LOL! It's going nowhere? Look how far it has came since 2015. Hell, last September. Still worth over double. I guess I am stupid for paying my car off because of my Bitcoin investments? At the end of the day, I basically paid roughly $11,500 Canadian for my Civic. Which I bought brand new less than 2 years ago.
  9. Doesn't seem to matter these days. Besides that, Enzo and his lawyer have flat out denied it happened. It's guilty until proven innocent now. Though apparently Enzo has known about the allegations and decided not to tell WWE. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
  10. Ba-da-bing, Ba-da-boom, Most unemployed guy in the room!
  11. Little weird. Should have done the entire show at the Manhattan Center.
  12. Watching RAW 25 on the PVR. Seeing Stone Cold come out and the pop he got sure brought back memories of when WWE was on top of their game. Still looks like he could get in the ring and kick some a**!
  13. If you buy into the media BS and all the fear mongering, sure. In reality, not so much. I laughed as Global went on about the impending Nuclear war for about 20 minutes. My GF works for EMBC. People have been calling and freaking out about how BC will inform them about the incoming missiles. I almost feel sorry for the weak minded people who live in fear over nothing.
  14. As someone who invested/mined in Bitcoin and Litecoin in 2014 and in 2015 I get nailed hard by people at work who think I am losing large right now. Some laugh at my "misfortune" and some feel bad. Most know very little about any of it, just buy what the MSM is selling. I just smile and nod. Will hold on and just see how it all plays out.
  15. Welcome to 2017, where words offend and apparently hurt feelings. The world needs a famine to weed out the weak.
  16. and today he was found guilty by the ethics commissioner. Though his idiot supporters don't seem to care. Many are deflecting by mentioning Harper, and the most idiotic are bringing up Trump as a deflection, LOL!
  17. I always get a good laugh when I read a story that prices will fall. For every article that says it will fall another says it will rise: http://www.news1130.com/2017/12/17/housing-prices-rise-2018-credit-union/ Central 1 Credit Union is forecasting a rise in prices once again, including here in BC where province-wide the view is that prices will go up five per cent next year.
  18. Went to Headstones last weekend at The Commodore. Really good show. Bif Naked opened with her new project... Not a fan. Saw Barenaked Ladies last night at The Commodore last night. WOW! They put on one hell of a live show.
  19. Love reading through this thread. Couple big ones for me that I missed. Tom Petty. Was a big deal for me as it was one of my Dads favorite songs was Free Fallin. Billy Idol. AC/DC My Dad took me to my first concert. Metallica. He took me to many concerts growing up. We had a connection through live music. Guess that is why I go to so many shows today. Every show I take a moment to remember my Dad. Damn beers...
