  1. When some people hear the term simulation I think they just imagine ideas such as the Matrix. If, for the essence of this thread, the bible is factually true...I believe the story itself describes a simulation. Our world, one that you can experience but your actual soul/spirit exists and continues in different realms such as Heaven or Hell. Proposing that experiencing a mortal life isn't everything and all that life is.
  2. But in his question ...we'll assume true for this question and debate... Jesus was a man that walked the earth and was also God.
  3. Love your answers but you didn't answer within the perimeters of what the OP asked...'there is a god and a man named jesus walked the earth,,,'
  4. I really enjoyed the book 'Not Wanted on the Voyage' By Timothy Findley. It's about the great flood. To me, someone that doesn't know too much about the bible, it was a fun magical voyage and transition from the Book of Genesis to the new Testament.
  5. Love it. I have read a little bit about information being the 5th dimension. Not that I understand it but your post reminded me of that.
  6. You said, good question. Well, better answer. I guess there quite a few possibilities. If age is the question, I was curious who would/could give him money and term. Thanks.
  7. I said relax, come on take it slow. Without this rhythm, we can never know. So pale for now. Back in sideways, I respect this life. But I need some help again. Animosity. A better friend, she could be. Heaven's harbours save, at least for a little while. Still I dig this grave and I can't fall a sleep. Let me understand, you drank him back again? An honest vote for fame, for just being you.
  8. What teams do you think would want Miller for 7 years at 9mil?
  9. I missed the god thread. Never took part. This one has parameters though. The OP set guidelines for the convo. You have to accept there is a god and Jesus walked the earth in this threads discussion. It's why I left a long winded first post that doesn't really align with my true beliefs but just a mixture of ideas I have come across, answering the OP's query.
  10. Always found that strange. Religion scared me as a kid. I could watch all the horror movies no problem until I saw The Omen. I was told ...this is real...there is a hell. That did not give me comfort as I realised quickly that living up to the stringent requirements of the bible was a very hard path. I get your point though. I think the massive reason for religion was/is control of the masses.
  11. And would give him the pay, term and status on the team that he might want? I'm curious too.
  12. A) No. Evil isn't in the battle, it has no hope of beating good. It's not a war. Evil is the default human trait that Jesus tried to help us grow out of. There will always be a 'heaven' for those that give an effort to live a good peaceful life. b) The Annunaki, fallen angels, are in our realm so they had abide by our laws of physics for Nibiru to get close enough. Once they reached earth they started the events that lead up to Jesus' arrival. The Old Testament. c) We don't need saving, we could save ourselves. d) Nope, everything happens at the same time and we are all connected. So there isn't really an after life or a before live. Just a connected consciousness ( us/god ) that exists in many dimensions, including time of course. The more you learn, including compassion and good. You will experience your version of a heaven and ongoing consciousness. e) It's kinda like that. If that is what your spirit/consciousness is enlightened to. Though this life can be considered a simulation, it just also has infinite possibilities and even realities for not just this plane but the 'afterlife' f) God is trying to figure out what it is. It has been evolving through it's existence and somewhere along the way forgot what it, itself was. It knew that creating new information was the way and destruction was not. Good vs Evil. It is part of everything, including us. We are connected. Once we evolved a certain amount, God showed itself to guide it's own extension ( us) to an evolved state. The resurrection was just one of it's tricks/miracles to garner faith. Happy Zombie Jesus Day!
  13. With Horvat potentially out, the up hill battle just got steeper. I am so glad we are deep down the middle.
  14. That's the spirit! And in 5-6 years we should be on what....our 3rd cup?
  15. I think players are humans and all different. That said, if Miller wants to stay and wants big money. I think he is special enough that we seriously look at paying the man.
  16. Must be my memory. It's almost like I am sure some players have refused to play in certain cities for personal reasons, regardless of how much more they can make. The Scottish believed in Unicorns soo much that they made it their national animal. Go luck on your hunt.
  17. Oh i have turned away from more money quite a few times in my life for...well, a better life. I know i have heard of athletes making decisions based on elements other than just money.
  18. I like to think there is more to the equation than just money. He has a family, two young daughters. I would want to raise them in the best country on the planet in a beautiful city.
  19. You've said this a lot and could be right. However, as Miller has mentioned...he always wanted the role he is in. Will he get to be that sort of the second captain, leader he is on this team? or will he be brought into help a powerhouse in the next couple years for their cup runs? Because I hear that he will not be the player he is now in a couple years because he is soo very old. My thought is that his leadership position on our squad might help a decision to stay.
  20. I dont care if we suck for 10 years after winning a cup. Just once in my lifetime please, that's all I ask.
