  1. so, not retro fitting tranquilizer darts to shoot at anti vaxxers?
  2. Isn't that because health care is provincial jurisdiction? I think JT's papa made it that way when he was PM. Though I wondered about if allowance from the feds was needed to talk about mandatory jabs. Could fall into a personal freedoms gig vs a medical one.
  3. Rude, partner. So the 70% target was not enough. Is it obvious that we need, what... 100% then? that doesn't seem attainable. Even if Canada could achieve this. Then there is international travel to worry about bringing new variants anyway? Is there any talk about herd immunity anymore? I know humans haven't achieved it without vaccination, I just thought they had and Idea and target.
  4. 100% This pandemic has shown us that we have to be far more self reliant. This is Canada, we are a top country on the planet. We could start acting like it and defend ourselves from future threats.
  5. Yep. But in reality they would be setting us up for the future and could sell it as such. I know, I'm dreaming. It's a new very small world with international travel etc. We will face new super bugs and variants.
  6. I would have liked at some point for them to come out and say 'we have to throw ridiculous money into the health care systems' I know it takes time to train folks up, so let's get crackin'. Keep strong regulations. Ventilation improvement everywhere. Mask technology. Keep researching better treatments. All before mandatory jabs.
  7. Is the cancer from choosing to smoke? I'm being silly, dont answer, couldn't resist. I dont mind restrictions, lock downs....a true circuit breaker could be something, try that first. Cant support mandatory right now.
  8. What percentage of Canadians are already vaxxed? Seems like the overwhelming majority is on side with vaccinations. Now they are considering mandatory? What happened to a certain percentage of vaxxed need to achieve herd immunity? Dont we have a high enough percentage?
  9. Really, Should we start a Go Fund Me for AQ? Poor guy, cant have this pandemic hitting him so hard. We could all pitch in a few dollars so we can enjoy some hockey.
  10. I understand your frustration. I have more than a few criticisms myself about how things are being handled.
  11. He's been doing that lately. If his posting style was a martial art I would say Akido, it's known for 'when you push, I pull' Instead of giving his honest opinion, which I believe is someone that isn't too concerned about the virus. He is pretending to be overly concerned and being facetious with his suggestions.
  12. Aqua hard up for cash? Should have started a Go Fund Me....I would have sent him some quid. I wanna watch my Canucks god damn it
  13. hahaha! how small is that rock? how did they not have an idea of scale in the first place? even with no reference points, they knew it was only 80m away and I'd figure they could science up a guess, i mean they are driving a remote control buggy....on the moon. Its a cover up! guberment! where's my tinfoil?!
  14. Well that's only gonna extend the ' what have you done for me lately?' convo Get well EP.
  15. Cant it stop and take a pic every once in a while? It's been a month so far on it's massive 80m journey. I want updated shots of my moon hut. I cant believe they found my hide out.
  16. That's awesome, climbing is hardcore.
  17. I feel you. Wife works in admin and my sis is an asst superintendent of the district. I am hearing a lot of complaints and concerns from the two of them.
  18. I think cables and/or bands are great. As with any exercise it's effort, technique and consistency. I have seen some guys that just do calisthenics in play grounds that are jacked and strong AF.
  19. Again, I think we agree in general. I remember in the early days that there was a lot of restaurants in Van that were having outbreaks but I'm not sure what measures they had in place at the time. I'm sure you recall me pointing out my concern about public washrooms when the new restrictions were implemented... Rogers alone at a potential Nucks game...yuck. And would they even isolate an outbreak anywhere anymore? ...how could they track say, 8,000+ people ( 50%) that attended a potential NHL game? Anyway, to jump to a conclusion. Do a proper circuit breaker. I would support that. Also, Really I was just giving Bo some context why gym visits where being discussed lately.
  20. I know, we've talked about this. It's why i mentioned... 'in relation to some of the places they have allowed to stay open' Such as Malls, restaurants, sporting events and religious services.
  21. How do we ( Canada) compare to other western countries? Are we all in the same boat?
  22. I miss it soo much. Not that I could go in the last week anyway with being sick. The feathers were ruffled in this thread by a poster taking about the idea of spreading covid with glee. There are plenty of us in here that find the gym closure restrictions silly in relation to some of the places they have allowed to stay open. I've spent my down time you tubing different approaches to my exercises. I cant wait to get back
