  1. my vote is...'Good game buddy' EDIT: Nope, I think you are right. 'welp, how about that'
  2. I find it funny people mentioning that it's the fans whining and not the teams. The teams are not allowed to publicly 'whine'. Just ask that awesome Campbell River man Rod the Bod Brind'Amour .
  3. He said something about it not feeling like the playoffs out there without fans. Well, Tuukka I don't think you will have to worry about having fans at all anymore. Enjoy the breeding etc..
  4. You make it seem like you are against evolution of the game. Scott Stevens used to be my fav D-man. He would be suspended in a second in today's game, unless he evolved.
  5. Just to refresh some peoples memories. 2011. How many penalties did the Bruins get vs Tampa and Vancouver which were the last two series in their cup run? ( two teams built for the PP) Maybe some people have a reason for being touchy about the officiating?
  6. I understand that Myers and any player should watch out for their safety. Simply, I want those penalties called. They are dangerous and they result in injures.
  7. Myers had no chance to correct himself either, with Schenns leg between his... It's an unfortunate extra to that push from behind.
  8. Where can you find 5v5 possession time for these games? I know the Blues had the puck more, I also know they had more PP time/
  9. I remember when Scott Stevens used to turn heads into Pez dispensers. People evolved from ' Keep your head up when you cross the Blue line, that's a fair hit'.... to... ' Players should not head hunt like that' That play, in that dangerous area about a meter is talked about a lot. I remember old DC yelling about it. It does get called, and should more often. I don't know your reaction if it happende to Van. A penalty is a penalty.
  10. Yeah, I think the Myers play is a 2min at least. Push from behind from a dangerous spot in to the boards, Schenn even get one of his legs in between Myers legs as he crashes. Have a look. Good view of it starting a 0:26
  11. Really? Just because he was in a vulnerable position does not give the Blues player free pass to push him in the lower back sending him into the boards. I don't know how many times I have heard that is a very dangerous play.
  12. I thought they put the whistles away in the third. I don't share you admiration for NHL reffing, I feel they have game management in their heads more than other sports, they tend to even up the calls more and don't just call them as they see them. To offer a reason though, I think hockey has soo many small infractions that a ref could call a game that would be all special teams. So they have to pick and choose a bit. Tough job. What a game last night. I like the first question asked to the Blues players post game...." How you gonna stop Bo Horvat"
  13. The refs really are a massive element in the game. Imagine if a computer called it. Completely different game, it would not put the whistles away for the last 5 mins
