  1. I don't take anything for any pain and thankfully have no health issues. Not a fan of pills at all but B12 is something I take on occasion if I find I am having too many days of feeling a little grumpy.
  2. Key contractor on Site C dam hit with $662K WorkSafeBC fine https://globalnews.ca/news/6925326/site-c-dam-contractor-fine-worksafebc/ For the third time in as many years, a major contractor working on the Site C dam project has been hit with a six-digit WorkSafeBC fine. The safety regulator imposed fine of more than $662,000 on Peace River Hydro Partners (PRHP) ....... --------- The people in control just not giving AF about the workers up there.
  3. I really got a lot out of Shiatsu massage, I think it uses similar pressure points as acupuncture. A Senpai in my martial arts days was a Shiatsu practitioner. It was like physio, hard massage and relaxing techniques. This guy was in his mid 50's, seemed like mid 30's and was easily one of the best martial artists I have met. Very, very healthy person, he was ripped like Bruce Lee.
  4. Has Khabib ever been knocked out? Justin may be a great wrestler but Khabib is one of the best. I can't believe Tony took all those shots, unreal. How he wasn't knocked out is amazing.
  5. nooo. Henry i was just becoming a big fan.
  6. what happened there? went into neutral after looking pretty good
  7. She was a bad pick and still got more votes. I'm not a big fan of the EC.
  8. I read that Dana fist bumped Souza before the scale, then went on to fist bump the rest of the fighters.... Gotta do the dog walk, get my drinks line up and tell the wife to shut it. Gonna miss some prelims but man am I stoked.....
  9. I sat in the truck as my wife did our bi-weekly shopping at QF, the only grocery store in our town. It's our new norm, I miss shopping with her and she hates doing it alone. I love my area but it seems 90% of the people believe that covid is over. I saw 50-60 people enter and leave as I waited. Maybe, 5 people had gloves and/or masks on. Its strange too, a lot walk like the are really tough, an air of defiance, like they just won a fight...well, if they keep it up they just might get one. George Laraque says its a pretty tough opponent.
  10. I took is as you were criticising a poster for trusting the Canadian government opinions but not the US ones, and reacting differently to them. Anyway, thanks for the clarification.
  11. You don't see American politics in a different way? You see their society in a different way as you point out may times when discussing gun crime. I find America and the way they conduct their politics quite different. Canada is starting to look like it in some ways. Sad to say that, imo, a lot of US- like attitude and displays seem to originate out of AB. But Canada's overall response to covid alone shows the difference, our leader has responded well as has our society when compared to the states.
  12. Don't know how many are MMA fans in this thread. Tonight UFC is doing a fight card in Florida. You guessed it, one of the fighters has tested positive and has been pulled from the card. They released a statement saying that he has been isolated the entire time, even before they tested him as he admitted to contact previously with an infected person. Hmm, a scary sport adding a new element of danger I suppose. I can't wait to watch the fights. I will then grab my popcorn and raise an eyebrow to see if there is any fall out in the days to come.
  13. Exclusive: Obama says in private call that 'rule of law is at risk' in Michael Flynn case https://news.yahoo.com/obama-irule-of-law-michael-flynn-case-014121045.html The Flynn case was invoked by Obama as a principal reason that his former administration officials needed to make sure former Vice President Joe Biden wins the November election against President Trump. “So I am hoping that all of you feel the same sense of urgency that I do,” he said. “Whenever I campaign, I’ve always said, ‘Ah, this is the most important election.’ Especially obviously when I was on the ballot, that always feels like it's the most important election. This one — I’m not on the ballot — but I am pretty darn invested. We got to make this happen.” “That’s why, I, by the way, am going to be spending as much time as necessary and campaigning as hard as I can for Joe Biden,” ---------------------- Obama will be supporting Joe in a big way. The Flynn situation has got him fired up.
  14. oh boy, here we go. I wanted to see that fight.
  15. My wife just laughed for about 5mins at this. soo good.
  16. Sure. More a comment on the act of doing it in general. I remove as many decals and dealer stickers etc... from my vehicles as possible cause they don't pay me to advertise. When I see political or social messages I kinda think of the religious fanatics that walk around with those sandwich boards warning that 'the end is nigh' etc...
  17. Are there a lot of vehicles in AB that have stuff written all over them? You seem to post a few. Reminds me of some of the rallies down south.
  18. I think he does believe in them. He doesn't care for handguns and assault types. Wants all the rest closely regulated. That is if remember his post from about 3 pages back, correctly. I know gun rights is usually a righty thing but not entirely so the 'Liberal' diss doesn't really work imo. There are a few libs on here that use and own guns.
  19. Its not loaded anything. It's a heavy topic for some for sure. Of course it's ok for me to disagree but thanks for your permission anyway. Is it a religious reason you oppose abortions?
  20. Are you against all abortions or do you have certain stage of development that you believe the fetus becomes a baby?
  21. Whereabouts are you? I'm hearing the North West have surpassed London for cases.
