I remember everyone carried knifes. At least the kids my older bro hung out with. I have seen a doc talking about how violent 'Island Nations' are, it focused on England and its male aggression, did a big part on football hooligans. I would say England is a more aggressive culture than Canada. Do you have a link to your home invasion/ knife crime stat?...I believe you about the knifes, wondering about home invasions. On thing I believe though, If England was to become a gun culture, it would be messy. I found this comparison interesting. https://www.nationmaster.com/country-info/compare/Canada/United-Kingdom/Crime

Joe has the black vote from what I understand. That could be the difference. -

He is at rainbow ridge. There's no cancer, no pain and he can run faster than he ever could believe. He won't age as he parties with his new friends. He will meet you when you cross over one day with a waggly tail and a happy circle dance. I am sorry for your loss. I remember your posts in GDT's. He reminded me of my last dog named Bishop. Maybe they are having a good wrestle together right now.

[Report] Pentagon Officially Releases UFO Videos
bishopshodan replied to Kobayashi Maru's topic in Off-Topic General
Thank you. So the pentagon, the navy etc.. release this and say 'we dunno, they're ufo's' as in unidentified. They have the backing of a lot of pilots and gov officials. Again the Leslie Kean book is a bit of an eye opener. Would it not have been simpler to say tech error? the Navy sat back for 2 years after the vids came out and then finally said these should not have gone public... Why? cause they're actually birds and they are too embarrassed to admit that? and would rather have the world think ufos? That seems really, like really, unlikely imo. -

I like your optimism and I agree that we are an impressive species. However, I also think we are only as strong as our weakest link. My comment 'destroy ourselves first' was in context to space exploration and discoveries. I think Brian Cox had a piece regarding that we would likely go extinct before we go intergalactic. With the state of the world, the environment, the corruption in power, the remaining masses that still believe and die for sky fairies.....well, you know..I think the doomsday clock is ticking. -

Someone mentioned string theory which includes what? 11 dimensions? Some of the smartest folk on the planet have developed quantum computing that works, without fully understanding how... things like superposition and entanglement. (btw, quantum entanglement to me is straight up magic, forget about ufo birds) Yea, I think it is time for us as a species to admit that we dont know squat yet. Lots still to discover, unfortunately we will destroy ourselves first. -

Thanks, There is a lot of analysis out there that talk about the abilities of the objects including speed, and lift etc that is far beyond known aircraft abilities. Japan is taking the birds seriously https://www.dnaindia.com/world/report-japan-s-defense-ministry-to-ramp-up-ufo-encounter-protocols-after-pentagon-releases-footage-2823553 -
[Report] Pentagon Officially Releases UFO Videos
bishopshodan replied to Kobayashi Maru's topic in Off-Topic General
Oh ok. But be sure I have been aware of this for years. The navy came out saying that that it should never have been released. Pentagon and Navy use the term UFO, not birds. Why is that? just to cover for faulty tech? and remember there is a lot of pilots that will now talk about seeing these things multiple times. -

I've looked at it tons of times. When did I say it was aliens? Could be a super drone. Doubt it is home made. -

I might watch later. Have you seen any of the pilot interviews? They experienced these things many times in different parts of the world. They even had one buzz them between two planes, which made the frustrated pilots fill out safety reports. I thought there was lots of movement that was faster and more precise than the jets chasing the tictac? quite the bird. It's been a while, I'll watch again. thanks for posting. -

Well, they are 'unidentified' and there are far more experiences by the pilots than just the footage. I don't want to watch a vid, can you give the coles notes? Do they point out the new sensor tech? or are they going on the theory that it is a jet or exhaust far off in the distance? One thing to keep in mind is that pilots are trained observers and there are hundreds that claim these events. -
[Report] Pentagon Officially Releases UFO Videos

You answered yourself here. It's old news to many people. I was surprised when I heard it was 'released' again. It was in the news quite a bit. I saw a lot of interviews and articles on it. Here's one from CNN in 2017 https://www.cnn.com/2017/12/18/politics/luis-elizondo-ufo-pentagon/index.html I remember when oumuamua was whipping through the solar system, on late night tv they asked Neil Degrasse Tyson if he thought it was an alien craft of light sail. He said not likely and that we should be looking closer at this Hornet footage. I recommend the book by Leslie Klien , which is the book @Kanukfanatic started the other thread around, it's filled with witness statements by gov officials, pilots etc...https://www.amazon.ca/UFOs-Generals-Pilots-Government-Officials/dp/0307717089 Yes, how does it apply to potential time travel? My thought, What if these tic-tacs have always been here and we are just seeing them more due to more air craft with better abilities, tech and sensors? What if they are beings that live in the higher atmosphere and don't sit in our limited field of vision? I love this stuff. Lots of reports of 'fast movers/ USOs' in our oceans too. https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/25784/what-u-s-submariners-actually-say-about-detection-of-so-called-unidentified-submerged-objects -

I thought these came out a while ago? We were talking about them in this thread. There has been a few interviews with the pilots. I guess they are 'official' now -
