  1. You have a great user name. Perfect dual meaning for a hockey site and a covid isolation. Well done.
  2. I was just looking at crossbows, as I wait for mine to get delivered. I wanted this model but it's too pricey. It can drop a bull Elk https://www.cabelas.ca/product/124348/ravin-r26-crossbow-package You don't need a PAL for crossbows. Maybe they should have pumped the brakes on this ban and look at regulations for all weapons. Better if they would have demanded smart tech for future gun purchases vs this.
  3. I guess I knew too many 'creepy' older people when I was kid. Lots of forced kisses and the good old cheek pinches. I really haven't been following but I don't hear too much actual sexual assault accusations about Joe. I know there's slow- mo vids trying to paint him as a predator and this Tara Reed story that seems kinda thin so far IMO. Mean while IMO it is Trump's own words have given him the victory in the Creep-off by a country mile. The Howard Stern show comments, the bus comments, the comments about his own daughter. God, it's not even close. Give DT the Creep Championship Banner to hang the rafters of the WH, he has earned it.
  4. Join the club. Before this covid, I was thinking about doing a bit of work as an Alc rep. Filled up the garage with about 3k worth of samples. Decided not to do the job. They owed me some dough so they partially paid me by leaving the booze for me. My wife wonders why I spend so much time up in the garage working on 'projects'. It's starting to wear on me perhaps, maybe drinking just a bit too much...I have resorted to posting Trump meme's....
  5. I think 4th line is showing some dude may be getting fired for pushing a Biden story that they claim is false? Mine is just a meme I saw referring to DT going into pageant change rooms full of semi-naked teenagers. I think he bragged about it back on the H Stern show.
  6. I dunno. But because I like to give answers, I'd think over 5 is getting into hunter, collector category. That gun is beautiful. I can understand the collector point of view. I'm thinking more about the average person and my personal experiences. Many seem to own multiple but don't hit the range much and hardly ever hunt.
  7. I know. But they were a collection of good guys with guns that obsess with their own security. While working in jobs that secure others. As i have said earlier in this thread though. What is with the high number of firearms owned by the average gun owner? from my personal experience, this is the case. Once you get a gun or two...you seem to want many (I was like that with tattoos ). Anyway, not a good look as perceived by the anti gun crowd. Many in this thread have mentioned the stash they have that they wont give up willingly.
  8. I hear ya. I guess that convo goes down the road to the right of the average guy owning semi autos etc.. I remember once being at the range with a bunch of the bouncers I managed. Big tough dudes, you should have seen the arsenal some of them showed up with. Kinda a dic measuring contest I suppose. Just pointing out what some gun owners look and act like and who the anti -gun crowd may perceive them as.
  9. I am one of the greatest posters ever made.
  10. Hip has a good point. A lot of folk don't give AF about guns and just want them gone. Many don't understand everyday people owning products designed to kill, outside of hunting. Self defence is the next reason. Some of those folks will also understand that, but not the need for military style multi shot assault style weapons.
  11. I watched 12 Monkeys today. It was just randomly on tele... don't..
  12. I think a few pages back someone said they left their gun out overnight with bullets on their porch? I didn't follow the rest of the convo so I don' t know if he was serious but your comment made me think of that. I don't know how that is responsible. This thread is interesting. It's mostly gun owners/supporters having the discussions about this ban. Some agree, some don't but the anti-gun crowd is enjoying some popcorn.
  13. Think of it. You could wear your Smith & Wesson watch on when you go out. People would see it and know you're a bad ass. It actually might make some gun owners feel even more secure if they could subtly show people that they possess ballistic weapons.
  14. The tech has been around for about 2 decades. It could be as simple as having a watch with a chip in it. The gun would only fire if it was within 10 inches of the watch. Seems simple to me what should be being implemented. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/nicolenguyen/what-is-smart-gun-technology The smart gun, which ensures only its gun owner can pull the trigger, was invented nearly two decades ago. But it’s still a long way off from hitting the market.
  15. All certain type of gun lovin non First Nations into criminals. Then again he did make me a non-criminal a while back.....wait, it's already passed 4:20! I gotta get my dog out for a walk in the greenery soon.
  16. Ahh ok. The bolded part of the quote confused me. '..as well as those indigenous people who use the weapon..'
  17. So all you have to say is that you hunt to provide for you family? I wonder how they would ensure that people are telling the truth...
  18. Oh, my bad. Got your statement backwards. Glad you don't need to stage the burglary now. Why the exemption for FN?
  19. I was waiting for that card when you were calling FN criminals. Why is that exemption in there?
  20. No kidding. How hard can it be? We have thumb and/or face recognition for cell phones. What a crazy idea it would be to implement that for products designed to kill. Seems simple. Grab the grip, it recognises your thumb print, if you're the owner ..you're go to go.
