  1. They look a bit funny. Maybe it's the stitching... I ordered a Whitecaps one, didn't know the Nucks were doing them too..
  2. Are Freedom Conservatives a social conservative group? And wasn't there a Wild Rose party at one time?
  3. PB said he was taking some time off a few weeks ago.
  4. This thread kinda reminds me of.... It's what stunt men/women are doing during the crisis. Soo good.
  5. Step one, look them right in the eye Step two, nose to nose no to no way Step three, reach your arms Step four, you can't do any harm, can do an F' load of harm With Four Hugs a Day, that's the minimum Four Hugs a Day, not the maximum Four Hugs a Day, that's the minimum Four Hugs a Day, not the maximum Don't forget your Mama and Papa Your Grandma and Grandpa And all your friends, forget them too Brothers and Sisters, Aunts and UnclesAnd don't forget your teachers too!
  6. We all don't need a hug in the morning, or at the end of the day. It's my belief, for instant relief, you all should stay the F' away.
  7. I love the Ravens. They are the size of eagles. Wish I could have one as a pet. I was there last when they were doing the poppies.
  8. This thing should have been figured out by now, by the immense knowledge in this thread alone. Lots of folk seem to think they know, but I'm not sure anyone could know? as we all know, that we know that we haven't known this specific coronavirus before.
  9. I get your joke but you may be surprised to know that JT boxed at Light -Heavyweight
  10. I heard that too. But man the Island highway was busy . I think each sailing was full but there wasn't as many sailing? Bikers out in big groups, people travelling up and down the rock that weekend a lot from what I saw.
  11. Saw a grey whale yesterday, I think it was scratching barnacles off on the rocks. Was soo cool, huge animal swimming back and forth. Saw it come up about 20 times, as close as 10 feet away. To keep with the animal theme, and not soo cool. Wife and I are pretty sure we heard a cougar behind the car port. It sounded to be attacking something but I don't see any damage today. Freaked us out, we have a lot of deer on the property but usually don't get any predators. Keeping working too, ripped down our old deck in the last two days. Framing starts tomorrow and we hope to have it done within a week. Very excited. Should have got a vid of the whale you say? well, I tried and thought I got some good footage. I screwed up and got pretty much squat. But here, I'll post what did save. Don't blink, looks like the Kraken going back under... VID_20200422_184700.mp4 Edit: Here, a pro that knows how to take pictures.... https://vancouverisland.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=1946553
  12. I have been doing my four horsemen bit since page 2 of this thread. Despite not being a 'believer'...this all feels very biblical. Anyway, I'm concerned about this... 250 million people... Coronavirus: World risks 'biblical' famines due to pandemic - UN https://www.bbc.com/news/world-52373888
  13. Good work JT. It was Brazilian dollars! Which probably sounds like a lot to them after translation.
  14. I just happened to log into page 4 of this thread by mistake. This post by Don jumped out at me. Its pretty sensible but also shows how far we've come. Would like to point out that 'the left' is not moaning. Bang-on about the right though.
  15. I hear ya. Just teasing you about not caring about evil dictators when some believe that DT wouldn't mind being one himself.
  16. Some people see Donny as a wannabe evil dictator. When he becomes one, you'll become one of us.
  17. Of course the arguments are winnable. It's just that simple. There is not much education that comes with Trump, he is the all time champ for lies and misinformation, there is a website that tracks it. Unfortunately in this day and age people have a hard time admitting they are wrong. I'm responding to you cause you mentioned 'fart' and I pointed out where I am from the slang for that is 'trump'. Also, where I am from we have a long history of ripping on politicians. You should check out an old show called Spitting Image and see how Margaret Thatcher and the Royal fam are portrayed. It's no different for Trump but these days people are so tribal and have been raised to have thin skin. They would rather keep supporting this guy than admit fault. His name is showing up a lot in this thread because how he is handling this pandemic is balls.
  18. I just got the lawn tractor going. I was told it was dead by two different guys that know their way around motors. They couldn't figure it out, told me it was just old. I almost gave it away. I don't know anything about engines but I have a google machine and time on my hands. Charged the battery, checked the plugs, gave it oil and gas..nothing. Watched some videos, about to give up then I discovered that the blade lock thingy was malfunctioning. Mr you tube says the blades need to be dis-engaged before starting. So I did a couple tweaks.....sputter, sputter....vaaarrooom! Honey, I'm mowing the lawn tomorrow. Small victories.
  19. Hey, It is a fact that in England the slang word for fart is trump. Has been for a long time, well before this dude. Not fake news.
  20. Where I am originally from. Northern England. The slang word for a fart is, a trump. True story. https://medium.com/@allanishac/in-england-trump-means-fart-and-other-amusing-translations-of-the-presidents-surname-d8ae74f64797
  21. There's a lot of tubby gun owners down there. Though that country does struggle with obesity. I'm not one for usually making fun of someones appearance but if you are trying to look tough. Maybe skip the deep fried food and do a sit up now and again. If a civil war broke out, half these dudes would be out of breath after the arduous task of loading their symbols of freedom.
