  1. The city owns about 6 bil in land as I remember a couple years ago. Though I don't know the value in these crazy times. The article states 7.9 bil in total assets. Sell a whole bunch of that, at a discount, to developers that have to build low income housing.
  2. Alberta I'm gonna go ahead and give you one of these... This rocks.
  3. Haha all good .I'm just dorking out and being silly over analysing a fun vid Ghost posted. I know you well enough, you would never tap,
  4. To give him a bit of a break, she looks to have a name tag on...he may have been helping out a 'bad customer' situation, not just a street fight. Still, I don't know if he gets to play next game.
  5. Yes, if you watch again she is even going for a key lock behind 'one shoes' back in the scramble. She's well trained. And oh, I agree, watching the bunny storm in was awesome! ....sometimes good guys take a third bunny in penalty though, game misconduct.
  6. The woman in black looked like she had a good sub attempt going when it went to the ground. Then bunny came in
  7. I need to point out that the Bunny wrecked what looked like a solid triangle or maybe an arm- bar submission attempt by the fighter in black. Third bunny in....game misconduct penalty
  8. His comment makes him a 'Beijing supporter'? He seemed to be pointing out that 'it makes no difference to how countries react to it'. You know if you read the words in his sentence...I take it as he thinks it would be more productive to worry about Covid than what China may have hid.
  9. Is true! they used it for target practice, shot torpedoes at it. Cool old article here that Navy base. Canadian Forces Maritime Experimental and Test Range http://tpc.peacemagazine.org/219/nanoose-test-site-for-nuclear-subs
  10. That's soo cool. We still have the Navy base at Notch hill. Did you ever see the yellow submarine?
  11. Agreed, Parksville, Qualicum are almost as pretty as Nanoose. Those 3 places make up District 69. We always got a kick out of that numeric identifier as kids.
  12. You're getting the convo twisted. The Boudrais guy already mentioned the footage being used twice. Nobody challenged that. I didn't say anything about Brietbart, but I agree with you
  13. Yea, dude mentioned using the footage twice in his post. I know.
  14. True story. In grade 6 there was a kid. Loud and dumb. His mom used to send him to school with about 20 full sized chocolate bars to give out. To bribe friends. This was back when chocolate bars were something you got once in a while so it set the class into a frenzy when he would hand them out. He would pick and choose who got them. He got high on his horse and treated the wrong kid really meanly, insults about how poor he was. He got his ass whooped and he deserved it. Yet, the class turned on the kid that had beat him up. They had gotten used to the hands out and didn't care what was wrong or right.
  15. Thanks for the info stawns, maybe I will watch it, I'm a huge animal lover. My bud told me to watch 'Biggest Little Farm' which I did.....ugh, lots of animal suffering due to ambitious, yet unqualified dreamers trying to do a perfect natural balance farm while also trying to be a productive business. Not a 'bad' show though.
  16. My buddy watches a lot of shows. He'll always tell me about them. I started to realise, a very high percentage glamorise criminals and their life styles. But maybe it's always been this way, it's strange the violence, crime and death that is shown. But they will still put restrictions on language and the naked human body. Speaking of violence, swing away at those terminals Deb. The island highway was packed with people travelling off the ferry, along with large groups of 'Sons of Anacrchy' going for a ride up Island.
  17. Seems like every second show is about crime and evil people these days. I haven't seen this show, I don't watch many these days. But what's the attraction? is it similar to why some people slow down to look at car accidents?
  18. They were exposed for it. That's how I'm reading about it here on CDC. I heard about the Italian hospital too.. It has also been pointed out that stock footage gets mixed up all the time. I see it plenty on local news. Are you under the impression that all MSM are just lousy at their jobs? or that they have an agenda?...or do you? IMO most thinking people get their info from multiple sources. Edit: I didn't read your other post until I responded to this one. You do think MSM has an agenda(s)...
  19. I'm finding mild satisfaction seeing the organised religions groaning about not being able to mass gather. Scared to lose their grip on the cult control.
  20. Here, on the Van Isl coast. Love my property. I feel blessed daily.
  21. Wife applied. Took her about 15 mins to fill out. Don't know when the dough comes...
  22. Um the post above yours has a physical threat! I kid, I kid, I know @RowdyCanuck is all good It's cool to see. Our little CDC, like the leaders of Canada, seem to be understanding each other a bit better.
  23. I nominate @RUPERTKBD for post of the month. Well done. Laughed Out frick'n Loud.
