I remember him saying that he hadn't received a hard punch for a lot of fights, that freaked him out a bit. The Big Rig fight is in my mind. He proved then that he could weather a storm, but didn't he retire for the first time soon after? IMO he is the best though. Probably cause I'm a lover of a karate base.

Can't say I'm surprised. Kinda thought there would be too many hurdles.

Haha, I often jokingly say ' I only eat ugly animals'....then the debate comes about if a chicken is cute or not. There's lots of clam digging here in Nanoose. The bay has long tidal flats. It's been busy lately.

I could go Vegetarian. I only eat chicken and fish meat anyway. I don't know about going Vegan though. It would be hard to give up dairy.

A 50,000-year-old piece of string hints at Neanderthal intelligence, scientists say https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/a-50000-year-old-piece-of-string-hints-at-neanderthal-intelligence-scientists-say/ar-BB12o8QE Yep, being called a Neanderthal might not be a dis at all. Maybe should be a compliment? -
Well, they weren't defending China but I'll agree with you that MSM outlets should not dabble in conspiracy theories. I will also agree that China is bad stuff. Oh, alright I'll agree Orange man is bad too... But that's another thread.

I dont know if I believe any of them. But I found it strange for Global to run it across their ticker. I hate tickers, they just send a sentence across and often don't follow up with that topic during the broadcast. I don't understand the logic behind this one...lets freak out the viewers by putting conspiracy theory on their screens without any follow up. Also, that they are talking about the Chinese angle and mentioning that, not the US 'China flu' angle...

So the dude that died in Richmond was young-ish, 47 and only symptom was a fever. Thought we were only supposed to really worry if it affects our respiratory system?

I know, but really...what if house cats can carry it and infect their owners? Never mind the more mobile wild animals...

I'll believe it when I see it. Still feel they may run into some hurdles. But man, I am starved for a good scrap.

So, yeah. Your pets may be able to get infected. Unlikely that dogs, pigs, chickens can get it but cats and ferrets can. No word on if it can be transferred to humans but they could infect each other. That said, gotta assume that tiger got it from a human? so I would think it can go the other way...cat could infect a human?

Watching Global news right now. I find it strange that on their ticker they are reporting ... 'conspiracy theory suggests that Covid was started by US military in Wuhan' Weird thing for Global wanting people to think about.

Crap. I wanted to see Thug Rose. However, I did have a feeling she would be a no go .

5 yr Fixed? Edit: did you have to pay a penalty or was it your time to renew?....

I made the same joke in the MMA thread. I agree, and demand the headliner match to be fought in a hall of mirrors. Who's gonna play Bolo? I nominate Ngannou

I'm on a well. It's water is really high in minerals, so I use a water tower for my drinking supply. I went to fill up my two 18L bottles at the dispenser at QF. "Out of Order" The sales clerk didn't know why, so I called the company, Glacier. They informed me that all their machines in Canada have been shut down. They didn't give a reason and said it was not their decision. My question is, why? The dispensing nozzle is in the machine and has a safety guard that slides down before it releases the water. The only part humans touch are the buttons on the face of the machine. It sent my mind down a road of questions that I haven't heard complete definitive answers to yet. Unlikely but... -Can it transfer via droplets to other animal species? (how did the tiger get it? can birds?....you know things that fly!) -Can you get it twice? (or is it like other flu's and you build immunity but this one is hard to detect sometimes, so people could think they're over it and they're not. Then they spread it some more.) -Is it mutating? (are there worse strains coming?) - And today's question...Can it survive in water, could it contaminate a water supply?

Why is tribal land exempt from stay at home orders? Report: UFC 249 Location Revealed https://www.mmanews.com/report-ufc-249-location-revealed/ Since this location is on tribal land, that makes the stay-at-home order in California exempt for UFC 249. The UFC also won’t have to adhere to the Californa State Athletic Commission.

Joe Biden Debates Donald Trump September 29
bishopshodan replied to DonLever's topic in Off-Topic General
Even CNN was asking Biden last night about the possibility of postponing the election. I think as crazy as that sounds we will start hearing it more and more. Come November, it might not sound as crazy. If that far fetched idea happens, IMO that's the true end of the US as we know it. -
This Pastor had the same conspiracy fears. He died from covid. Pastor dies from COVID-19 — after claiming coronavirus was a ‘mark of the beast’ conspiracy https://www.rawstory.com/2020/03/pastor-dies-from-covid-19-after-claiming-coronavirus-was-a-mark-of-the-beast-conspiracy/ “They’re gonna come up with a vaccine and in that vaccine everybody is gonna have to take it … and inside of that vaccine there’s going to be some type of electronic computer device that’s gonna put some type of chip in...

I can agree with you here. I admit I may have come off a bit touchy. We got news that close family friends lost their daughter a couple days ago to covid ( only 45) and my mum's step bro is sick with it. They are back in England, they're in tough times over there.

1. If they are doing this on an Island. I would like it to be in the theme of 'Enter the Dragon' 2. Holy this story is scary. Knowing a lot of big tough guys ( used to GM night clubs and I've been training forever) I have often wondered how tough some of these monsters that walk the streets are, how they would do if they took up an MMA career. A monster broke into one of the toughest in the UFC's home and it was apparently the battle of his life. https://www.cbssports.com/mma/news/ufc-fighter-anthony-smith-details-wild-fight-with-home-intruder-no-normal-human-is-able-to-fight-like-that/

I think we are doing great here in Canada. the political divide has been put to the side as we battle this. I think Dougy Ford is one of the best examples of that. If only someone could get that country down south to get with the same program. As for your joke, I don't know how that is self deprecating. I guess you are saying that you are getting all the info wrong? and, as a result, you are pretending you have to wash your hands every 20 secs?
