I didn't know Nate was Vegan, didn't watch the presser. He's still "harder than anybody here"!. Love it, this guy is always a step ahead....smart dude, don't be fooled by the drawl. https://www.mmaweekly.com/watch-nate-diaz-terminate-a-heckler-at-ufc-244-new-york-press-conference-video

They look like really good spinning back fist'ers though. It's called mixed martial arts you Melmacian pugilist. Boxing is just one of the many arts and there are different approaches, styles, rule sets of 'boxing'. If you are only trained in one style of the two that you mention ...boxing vs wrestling..is that your statement? .in a real situation? I'm going with wrestling Alf. https://www.sportscasting.com/which-fighting-style-is-most-effective-in-the-ufc/

I have noticed in my time that mirroring happens often in fights. Like that spinning back fist. Bravo throws one, then almost instinctively Peterson mirrors him...and it lands flush!

I know youre not calling him a racist. I just wanted to comment on what I thought was a bit of a spin by Fox. I saw Lemons commentary as a slight to leaders than never admit they are wrong.( cough, cough, Trump) I think we spoke before that Freeland would be an awesome Lib leader. I really like her. I am completely on the other side about JWR. Do not like or trust her at all. I admit I am swayed by a Crown lawyer friend of ours. When this broke, I expected our friend to be completely on JWR's side. I assumed this as our friend cut her teeth becoming a lawyer while working up North on Fist nations affairs. However, she said that Jody could have gone a bunch of different routes, believed JWR had an agenda, and that this type of pressure from the PM's office is not uncommon. She saw it as politicking.

oh, I want to kill.... Wife and I walk the False Creek sea wall at night with our dog. It's beautiful. Then some douche comes bombing along on a bike pumping the tunes at insane volumes. Freaking my dog out. Or sometimes a skid ball slowly walking, mean mugging everyone they pass as they listen to some out of date rap rock. Spin kicks for all!

Ugh, you made me listen to Carlson. But I like you so I choked it down. Lemon's hypocrisy shouldn't represent all the 'left'. That said, I didn't hear him excusing Trudeau for the brown face thingy, I heard him praising the idea of a world leader actually apologising. I wish Fox hadn't edited out the response from the guests when Don asked "what do you think about that?" I'm a huge fan of people that honestly say sorry. I always have been. An unconditional apology is very strong trait imo. I don't know if JT is completely honest in his. I have to admit, my gut and his record of trying to do what he thinks is right tells me that his is not a racist.

This is a fun convo too.. I was in a band with a first nations lead singer. His band before was made up of mostly non-white players, they called their band Pale Face ( that name is yet another convo maybe?) However, he was always pointing out the negative and positive references in the words we use.... 'a black mark'....'pure white, ivory fresh'...'the dark side'....'join the light'... You know, I could go on. But I am always aware of that since those days. Dark and black is used as a reference for evil and dirt. White is often used for purity, cleanliness and light. I am not saying it is a targeted thing. I understand that we humans are often afraid of the dark in our history....darkness hides the evil that goes bump in the night. White is the absence of stain when cleaning such as Ivory soap. Yet, intentional or not, are there subliminal elements that should be taken into consideration?

It's just sad to see. I am against this rally cry about cultural appropriation. If you are doing it respectfully I don't see it as discrimination. Costumes, clothing, make up, arts ...whatever. I am also not lasering off the many different cultures that are represented in my extensive tattoos. What is sad to me is seeing all these daft political parties acting the same way. I spoke with a hardcore conservative yesterday, a good man who runs a school for under privileged children. He started the convo laughing and pointing fingers at JT. He ended the conversation saying that he hopes a karaoke video he was in during a trip to Russia a long time ago never surfaces. It could affect his lucrative career. He admitted that he wished, not unlike himself, that his party wasn't running around beating this drum like he criticises the left for doing. I wonder what the value of an apology is these days. We will find out I suppose.
