I didn't know that. Seems like a bad call....along with his coaches game plan. He respected Khabib's take down's too much. I mean , he's gonna get you down but try to crack him as much as you can while you're standing. Anyway, Tony must be smiling somewhere thinking "I can do it, and I'm gonna get paid". I really look forward to that match up.

Serena, your outfit is ugly. Come on Bianca. Little bit at a time, chop this champ down.

What a fight for Felder! Hope hes gets the winner of Cowboy and Justin. Dustin didn't have his hands, don't know if it was the heat or nerves but he seemed to gas by the end of the 2nd. However that's Khabib, the kid is a monster. Hope he follows through and fights Tony. I feel TFerg could get the job done.

What's going on in here? I said... Make it So! Bo is the Captain.

Well.. Gotta blame it on something...that was fallin' fallin'... or, or.. you could ...blame it on the stars, that did shine at night... However, and this is important....Whatever you do don't put the blame on you. Going down the kitchen at the top of the stairs. Can I mix in with your affairs?

Yeah Felder is crisp and tough as nails, Barbosa is top shelf talented. Interesting fight.

Because the Big Macs are actually eating you. 95% of the different species on this planet are smaller than your pinky finger. How do you feel about being a being of such enormous size?
-
Agreed. However, lots have been chirping at the Pride orgs these days so I thought I`d ask. I know it can distract from the event but I don't mind people or athletes for that matter showing what they believe. It`s a strange world we live in when the idea of being against fascism or racism gets so much heat.

The Caps and their crappy ran org is probably more responsible for the press. Soccer has a real problem with racism around the globe. I don't watch much but when I do I often see attempts to shine light on the problem. The logo is not new at Cap games , you can wear the clothing but not hold a sign? (from posted article)... Paul Sabourin-Hertzog, president of the Whitecaps fan organization the Southsiders, said he hadn’t heard of anyone else getting a ban, despite the fact the Iron Front logo was displayed by many people at Saturday’s game, himself included. But the sign ban seems to be an MLS push that is not being well received.... At a game earlier in August, hundreds of Timbers and Seattle Sounders fans staged a protest against the sign ban, keeping silent for the first 33 minutes of the televised game. There's some convo about the Cap's supporting the Pride Org, with rainbow everything. Do you think they should be categorised as political?

Our local professional footy team even got caught up in the boogieman that is Antifa. Par for the course for this team that seems to spend most it's time annoying its fan base. https://globalnews.ca/news/5862073/whitecaps-fan-banned-sign/?utm_expid=.kz0UD5JkQOCo6yMqxGqECg.0&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F Whitecaps say 3-game ban to fan with anti-fascist sign was ‘internal miscommunication’

@gurn Thanks, fitting. I had never thought about those lyrics before.

That is amazing Riff! Good for you. I know a dude that is 56 and just got his bluebelt in JJ. I am looking at Island Top Team as I will be close to Nanaimo, but don't know much about them other than the website . As for kickboxing, it's in my soul to punch and kick. I was a drummer since I was 11 but once the 'career' was over I focused on martial arts in a big way. I competed till 35 and still think about getting back into it ( btw, I always forget how old I am). I think it is a natural percussive progression for some drummers to be attracted to hitting things. I do remember your elbow. Very happy to hear you've made big strides. I have been nursing a bit of an arm issue myself. Not sure how it developed but I've had to lay off the pull ups in particular and replaced them with bar pull downs. It's slowly getting better but a climbing gym would make me wince right now. Please update how it goes. I will do the same if I actually get myself into club down the road.

I'm making a change in my life this year. Up and moving. I was thinking about my age and reflecting a bit. Time moves so fast, I can't believe I'm 45. As I was daydreaming, listening to music ...I realised the lyrics in the song were articulating how I am feeling. Had to necro- bump my thread. Still the best ...MJK. Invincible Tool Long in tooth and soul Longing for another win Lurch into the fray Weapon out and belly in Warrior struggling To remain consequential Bellow aloud Bold and proud Of where I've been But here I am Beating chest and drums Beating tired bones again Age-old battle, mine Weapon out and belly in Tales told of battles won Of things we've done Caligula would grin Beating tired bones Tripping through remember when Once invincible Now the armor's wearing thin Heavy shield down Warrior struggling To remain relevant Warrior struggling To remain consequential Cry aloud Bold and proud Of where I've been But here I am Where I end Warrior struggling To remain relevant Warrior struggling To remain consequential Tears in my eyes Chasing Ponce de Leon's phantom Soul filled with hope I can taste mythical fountains False hope, perhaps But the truth never got in my way Before now, feel the sting Feeling time bearing down Tears in my eyes Chasing Ponce de Leon's phantom Soul filled with hope I can taste mythical fountains False hope, perhaps But the truth never got in my way Before now, feel the sting Feeling time bearing down False hope, perhaps But the truth never got in my way Before now, feel the sting Feeling time bearing down Bearing down https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxsld16TjSU

Yea, If I push myself I usually take two days off before doing that exercise again. These days, I lift 2x a week doing a full body workout. I see gains but not very quickly, at 45 this is perfect for me. I feel strong and look good in the mirror test. I have let my running slip due to a few things but I always get back. When I move to the Island soon, I plan to add some other activities. Rest, healthy food, hydration, stretching are all things I try to keep on aside from the actual workouts. It has to be a balance. When I used to compete, I was so scared of not being prepared or in top shape that I ended up injured a lot due to over training. My ego made me fight through it, which only lead to more issues. Once I respected my body more and looked at the whole picture I became a better bishop.

a- "its not getting better" b- "did you do the stuff I showed you that will help it get better?" a- "no, I didn't feel like it, too busy with all my social media commitments, is there no magic fix? You're the specialist" b- "no, you have to rehab and put the work in" a- " I'm going to go to another type of clinic then, but first, is there a Mcdonalds near by? I skipped breakfast so I want grab an ice cream cone"

He's really something. IMO he's the best combo of legit animal and trained fighter, with some natural gifts to boot, He looks at home in that cage, i hope for big things for him even though I find him cringy at times. The dude is hard AF. .
