Super prepped/ experienced drivers can be the worst. They pressure others on the road causing a dangerous environment. I get it, you're from somewhere that gets lots of snow and attach your ego to the idea that you are not afraid of the elements. Had a guy pass me across whats would be solid yellows if there wasn't so much snow and ice on the country road. I was going 60km. The speed limit on that road 60km. The woman in the passenger seat of the jacked up F 250 -much-testosterone looked straight up terrified.

You quoted me. I didn't say fans that go to games own the team. I pointed out that all customers are the real bosses. In the sense that without them their would be no value in the product. In this case a $750 mil increase. This triggerd you to call me a typical fan and said you wished the team would be sold and moved. Thats weak. I did not claim I deserved anything more than a voice as a supporting customer that has spent money on the team. I should be able to voice my criticisms without being told because of opinions like mine, typical fans like me, that the team should be moved. Now you are claiming you dont want the team moved and were just retorting with something that is not really your opinion. Good use of your time. As for envy. That's not really my jam. I'm healthy, wealthy and happy. Not a billioniare though and would not be one, wealth hoarding is one of the worst issues on the planet. There is a thread for that though where you can see what I have posted on the matter. -

Now, I am on record for being one of those 'go for it now' posters. But that is because of what you point out alot, which is the truth, that the owners are impatient. My problem is that they havent done enough IMO....but...there is a but...If, they manage to grab a top draft pick, trade for a D-man, get us out of cap hell and Demko comes back like, as a great poster calls him, double bubble Demko. Then I will turn my frown upside down and sing their well deserved praises. -

I'll tell ya, I would probably be the same as an owner. He has a lot of passion and wants to get a cup for his familly, that really do love the Nucks. He and I are too much fans. I would want everything my way too. So, unfortunately I would probably not be a good owner. The Canucks have had a few owners, they may have more in the future. Like any business, it is nothing without the support of the customers. AQ should probably sit up and pay attention otherwise he will no longer be the richest man in the world. Wait, thats a different dude...but same sentiment/ -

Whats pathetic is people wanting to have the team moved for fans criticising ownership. The same fans that support this team, creating a 1 billion dollar franchise. Without the fans, AQ would not be lookiing at a $750 mil profit if he was to sell. Those fans that cough up thier hard earned money should be allowed to speak their mind. That is what is really pathetic. -

It's people like you that are the reason we have sweater ads, helmet ads, virtual broadcast ads... You juust take it, no lube needed. When I call the brass 'all- star', I am mocking them. They have all these credentials but dont address our needs. I am also not a typical fans in the sense you mean. I have sent more dollars the way of AQ than most. Until 3 years ago I was one of Vancouvers biggest retail liquor buyers. I helped get some of his products off the ground. Became a top seller in BC of some of his stuff. I did this by reducing my mark-up on AQ products and provided them free promo amongst other things. I did all of this because I love the Canucks. The familly do have their hands in the team ops. I have sat at the owners table enough times, worked closely with his people...oh and one of my friends dated his daughter for years. Btw, since you are on his leg and are in Mexico(?) you may be interested in the fact that his favourite alcohol is tequila...the more expensive, the better. My suggestion was to a poster that wanted him to sell to another person and move the team. I suggested, sure but why not to a person that doesn't want to move the team. You however, doubled down on selling and moving the team because of your disgust at typical fans? because of the way we support you don't want us to have a team... Well, you can bugger off. Unless you an AQ shill and then I understand you are just doing your job. -

Or maybe one that doesn't want to move the team and that listens to the real bosses? You know, the fans / customers that pay for and help increase the value of the product. I think AQ bought the club for around $250mil and it is now worth about $1 bil. You do spend to the cap AQ, it'll be ok as you are looking to make a nice dime on a potential sale. You're welcome for all our $upport over the years. -
Seasons Greetings. Try to do it right!

Oh we have an allstar front of house that will get right on that. My wife calls him that too. I think there was a person on morning TV out of Van for a while that was called McDermott so maybe thats where you guys have picked that up. -

I couldnt give a toss about some of the other fans opinions, yet they should be allowed to have them. Nobody should be called toxic for criticising. However, I also read a lot of jabs like 'anyone with hockey sense' ' Unless you enjoy medicority' etc, etc.. when some people are stating those criticisms. Just say you piece. We are on a discussion board. -

Well then, lets rebuild the front of house first and maybe I can be convinced. -

One problem I have with a full rebuild is that I have zero confidence in this brass to do it right. They will F it up and we will be having this convo again in 5-6 years. -

A top 4 D would help this team a lot. A top 5 pick would help this team a lot. -

That's more optomisitc than I am right now. We needed to trade for some D help and one of our best players in Demko playing, to make any gains this year. -

I know every team goes through tough luck...but... I cant help but wonder where we would be at if Demko was playing well, healthy and that the brass did something most fans are screaming for...get us a top4 D-man. How many points better would we be right now? -

I think the real problem with the team is that our sweater defiling corporate logo includes the word... Toronto That has got to be a curse of some sort. -

I was just making fun of the strange phenomenon of people putting 'Mc' before his last name. So I called him Irish. It's Dermott...not McDermott I agree though, he's a good 3rd pairing dude. Don't expect more than that from him. -

I hoped this would be a step in the right direction this year. I always knew we needed a healthy good Demko to take that step. We also needed D -support. When they signed Miller it should have signaled going all in. They didn't, went half assed, didnt adress the D, Demko played crap and got injured. and here we are. -

Totally. Did they think an ' (almost) everyone must go' rumour would inspire the bunch? If they have no faith in the team then maybe the team starts to think that also. This brass is as trust worthy as a JT Miller cross ice pass. Whats to say that they wont clean house and bring in a new batch of problems? We have semi retired JR as an overload with a bunch of, perhaps not ready, minions. Fun stuff.
