I'm not sure how it works but do municipal forces have the intergration out of their jurisdiction that RCMP do? For example, if a gang memeber commits a crime in Surrey but lives in North Van, would the City of North Van and the Surrey force have the cohesion that the RCMP could have in the same situation? Also, it was supposed to be a municipal decision, it seems to be the will of the people, since Locke won....as from the article. 'Mayor Brenda Locke made keeping the RCMP the signature issue in her election campaign last October.'

My buddy goes on about that. The quality of meat. He hunts and loves the flesh. However, he tries only to eat pasture raised, or what he hunts. He claims the meat is way better, not just the steriods etc but the adrenaline that flows through the frightened animal, due to the way the big corps slaughter, that makes the meat taste like crap. Our local farm walks the cow out to the pasture and lets it graze. It is unaware when the farmer pulls the trigger from behind it. Merciful. My bro knows some guys that worked the kill floor in a slaughter house. He said workers have to be rotated due to stress. All day they hear the screams and squeals of the animals lined up, watching their mates being killed. It gets to the men doing the work and effects their mental health.

Did not click the link but yeah, there is a lot of science going into it. We had a poster on here going on about the mustard plant being somewhat aware. There are studies of plants hearing/sensing predators and responding. Some will emit attractants for animals that eat the predators that are threatening them. If there was a pill that I could consume instead of food, I would. So, I make my decisions based on what I think is sentient. I know I am probably still ignorant. Each day I hang out with my dog. She is my best friend. A pig is as smart as a dog. I would kill any human that harmed my dog, without hesitation, John Wick style. For you...some of my fav MJK lyrics. And the angel of the lord came unto me Snatching me up from my place of slumber And took me on high and higher still Until we moved to the spaces betwixt the air itself And he brought me into a vast farmlands of our own Midwest And as we descended cries of impending doom rose from the soil One thousand nay a million voices full of fear And terror possessed me then And I begged Angel of the Lord what are these tortured screams? And the angel said unto me These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots! You see, Reverend Maynard Tomorrow is harvest day and to them it is the holocaust And I sprang from my slumber drenched in sweat Like the tears of one million terrified brothers and roared "Hear me now, I have seen the light! They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you! Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers! Can I get an amen? Can I get a hallelujah? Thank you Jesus

Yeah, good chance the dude in the box wasn't a vegan . Anyway, have you noticed..meat eaters always start it, then claim it's the vegans preaching. ( like the thread today) It's almost, hear me out, it's almost like they are feeling a little defensive about something...

I think we should be able to eat humans. The bad ones. Instead of life in prison or the death penalty, let's eat'em. It would save on tax payer money, it would save an innocent life of the animal slated for that meal. I bet the meat tastes good. Humans are so close to pigs genetically, skin and flesh is very similar. Human bacon would be delish.

Selling/Buying a used car to a dealership question
bishopshodan replied to HockeyLover17's topic in Off-Topic General
Nice. I have a 76 dart swinger. I'm thinking of getting it done up in the next year or so. It has a slant 6. A long time ago I bought a 383 big block with plans to squeeze that in to the old dart. Now I have decided that it will be a lover, not a fighter as I am gonna keep the original slant 6 and not the 383. I can actaully sell the 383 in it's crate for decent cash. I dont need to go fast, and where am i going to go fast? and how much will going fast cost me with these gas prices? Nah, I'll buy a nice sound system and cruise around at 20km happy as a pig in poop. -

He was. I remember them talking about how much he could bench. However, I dont think he had the leg power that Bure had. -

Damn. I'd like to see that. I saw the Caps once against Man City. It was at Empire Field, what a venue....outside, mountains in the background. Just awesome. -

Never would have guessed that Hedican was heavier than Murzyn. What a team. I worked as a busboy at a club called Luv-a-fair at the time. The team used to come in now and then. Was such a treat, I'll aways remember those days. I had a cop show up at my door about a week after the riots. I had been identified by one of my neighbours ( ithink) from tv footage, that I was in the riots. I wasn't . I told the cop how I was working that night at the club.and could get them about 500 people that would confirm that. -

If you talk with the GM, the salesman might get in trouble. He sounds like he was trying to give you the heads up.about the manager. Stand your ground with this place and tell them you want 20k for your trade in, and/or go to another dealer. -

I dont think so. I have similar concerns. I dont see it as panic. Petey seems like an awesome person, however he is also an awesome player and many will be telling him what he could make. It make sense that some fans have concerns that he might be wooed away by dollars and a better chance to win. Though I agree with you that we have a good squad. -

Who the fook is that guy?
-
haha, no... i got what you were referring to that sucked. I should have typed...'Isn't he good!' ...i used the wrong punctuation. I underestimated him too. Thats why I mentioned cerebral etc... I was once asked what attribute I would rather have...speed or power....I answered, timing. Hill has that in spades. Yeah, I'm happy with that title scenario. Would love to see either guy vs Jiri. BTW, Jiri is awesome too. As a bit of a traditionalist myself, its fun to watch him doing the samurai thing...punching trees etc...lol/
