With Tallon in the organization I could see them looking into Quenneville. -
[Report] Tanner Pearson to miss the remainder of 2022-23 season

You mean to tell me that hiring rookie managers in every position equals a poorly run organization?? Who would have guessed that… -
They had a good one in Brackett and they let him walk cause Benning’s ego got in the way. Most teams do a good job of not letting good scouts go by promoting them and giving them bigger roles to keep them happy. Unfortunately we have another GM that still wants to be a scout despite a below average record of finding talent.

[Rumour] Bo Horvat Trade/Contract Talks
DeNiro replied to HOFsedins's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
I mean at some point Nashville has to go for it no? All of their core players are 28-32. It’s either now or never for them. Maybe they figure if Bo is a fit there and likes Nashville that they can convince him to sign long term. They can afford the pieces. Fabbro is likely already on his way out, a prospect like Kemell or Askarov, and a first. They could part with that for a run. -

We don’t need to take Johansen. Nashville has 1.8 mil in cap. If they include Fabbro in the deal that’s 4.2 mil. Would only need to retain like 2 mil on Bo’s contract. They could easily make it work. -

We’re not prioritizing RHD, but Fabbro would certainly be included in a deal with Nashville. Kemell is a very good prospect plus we’d get a first. Any D man we draft is at least 3 or 4 years from the NHL if everything goes perfect. -

I mean if management pushed for surgery and he was wanting to play through it? Then there was a failed surgery? Usually with these things there’s second opinions. So it would have taken multiple levels of failure. -

I would still trade for him if he became available. We gave up on Mitchell and look how that turned out for us. -
Yea I’m sure a Minnesota reporter wouldn’t wanna cause drama here or anything. Wouldn’t be surprised if Brackett was his source. Trying to get his boy Petey back. The vultures are clearly circling. Media sees drama here and is just trying to pile on. If they create enough chaos maybe their favourite team can poach one of our stars. Pathetic really.

Correct. He could potentially play in the AHL. I think junior would be a better choice at this point though.

[Rumour] Bo Horvat Trade/Contract Talks
DeNiro replied to HOFsedins's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Fabbro represents a dire need which is a young right shot D man. Theres no way they make a trade with no futures coming back for Bo. Ownership can say what they want but that’s not realistic. -

I could see that. Something around Fabbro, Kenmel, and a 1st. -
And yet the team moves backwards anyways.
