It's the first line talent that we're missing out on that is what hurts. For a team desperate for elite first liners, it's tough to watch other teams take guys like Ehlers, Nylander, Tkachuk, Pastrnak, and Keller who are having success almost immediately. We can't afford to keep missing out on players like this.

The good thing is he does have a knack for finding talent in later rounds, and acquiring other teams undervalued prospects. I hope that is what balances things out in the end.
