We have gotten a lot of young players this season. Kuzmenko, Bear, Beau, Raty, Kravatsov, Hronek, Bloom...that's a lot of young players added to the team. Subtract Horvat, Lockwood and Schenn and it doesn't seem much of a loss.

Shutdown d men are cheaper to get in FA and they have less value. We could get a shut down D paired with Hughes and Hronek paired with OEL, pushing Myers down to bottom pairing where he belong with Bear. I still think Canucks could get another young dman from a Boeser trade

I think Boeser is as good as gone and I imagine Pens want to get him. We might retain a bit but we could get a nice 2nd round pick back and maybe a D prospect. A 4 million dollar Boeser sounds good to Pens right about now

They are also fast tracking and making sure that pick gets us the player whether it's the draft or through trading that pick. Imagine if Boeser gets us a young D prospect or let's us recoup a 2nd round pick this year. I think Canucks aren't done.

Canucks need to see where their pick lands. If it's top 5 they need to go BPA and get Mitchkov. If it lands outside for top 10 then get the best Dman.

So Canucks had NYI 1st round pick before they traded Horvat? It's Horvat and Canucks 2nd for Hroenik, Beau, Raty and 4th....it looks pretty good for Canucks when you look at it like this, especially and unsigned Horvat. If it was Benning, he would let Horvat walk for free and traded that 2nd to get Kravatsov lol. This management is 100 IQ levels higher than Benning. Also people keep forgetting we traded a 9th overall pick to get the worst contract in the league in OEL.

I will say we kind of overpaid but then again Hroenik would require a 1st round pick minimum as Wings wouldn't trade him especially with Yzerman as a GM.

We needed another offensive D man be ause OEL and Myers are trash and Bear is not a quality offense dman the Canucks need in the top 4. None of Bear, OEL or Myers would be able to crack Wings top 4 it Hroenik was their top 2

He isn't middle of the road D. He is Wings 2nd best dman after Seider and he is young with term. How can Canucks fix their top 4 because it sure as hell they won't be able to draft all their Ds

It's great for our D. It was costly and I wish it was 1st and a 3rd. But it's a million times better than when Benning traded a 9th overall pick for OEL

Yeah right, I call BS in that. By that logic maybe he should live on Mars because all the cities in North America is more or less have drug problems, homelessness and their bad parts. Name me a city in US that's better than Vancouver in terms of crime. So many immigrants like to go to Canada and want to go to either Toronto or Vancouver. If it was complaint about Vancouver being rainy, it would be more believable but smell of urine and weed kind of smells like BS to me. What's wrong with Vancouver? He had problems with previous regime. It's new regime, new coach and new players on the team now and we have multiple Russians. He would actually fit Vancouver very well and would get ice time easily.

I do, Hughes is the next valuable player after Petersson and drives the offense for us from the back end. Without him, the Canucks forwards would have a lot less points. The third most valuable now is Kuzy.

Well I mean it doesn't take an expert to see that Tyler Minors ain't an NHL player. He is only playing because of his 6 million contract. If he was making 1 mil, he would have been waived already for one of our AHL defenders

Nah the only good season Minors had was his Calder year. Even in Winnipeg he was not good and played bottom pairing. The Genius that is Benning figured out Myers could play top 4 and Tanev was not needed then went and traded for OEL. Got poolman and players like Badbransun. I mean Benning couldn't get one legit NHL defender and the only one he got right was Hughes who is a great offensive Dman.

4 of the 4 goals wouldnt happen if Myers could play defense instead of standing behind Delia and trying to play as a goalie

I believe Canucks would have a playoff spot if we had an AHL defender playing instead of Tyler Minors

The way Kuzmenko is playing, he could be like a Bedard lol
