Myers, Boeser, Garland will all be traded by then

He wouldn't affect me or drive me nuts. He is not that good, so he can go ahead and sign elsewhere. We need a speedy dman not another Myers.

We should be targetting legit players like Barbeshev or Laf not some AHL player who isn't better than our own AHL players lol

People here want them moved or as a throw away while not looking at the long term. They could easily be the next Chatfield or Forsling or Lomberg etc.

Bennings stink will last for a decade or more after he was layed off. Plus the 8 years he crap the bed so that makes it about 18 years. We still can't get rid of OEL and he traded the 9th overall pick. Those dumb moves have lasting effects for sure.

Looking at just the names that Canucks gave up and didn't give a chance, there is a long list. Forsling Chatfield McCann The names that have made differences in these playoffs Add in: Tanev Toffoli Stecher I think Canucks would have easily made playoffs just keeping those names and not overpaying for washed up or overrated players like Myers, OEL, Virtanen, poolman, Sutter, Russell etc. The problem is how a GM does player analysis and who he picks to build a team with. Benning completely failed in this department. Canucks D without Benning would be: Hughes-Tanev Forsling-Hronek Chatfield-Stecher/Bear/Schenn That defense might not be physical but it is a hell of a lot better than what we have now and all it took was not making dumb moves to overpay some washed up defensemen. Plus the cap savings to improve it more. Never got why Benning moved Forsling for a crappy D like Glendening when we never got a chance to see Forsling player for our team. Don't even get why we moved Chatfield. Really hope this management can do a better job assessing our own players before trading them for another player.

I would honestly draft Reinbacher if all the good centers are gone. I would only trade 11th overall if a rebuilding team would want OEL and Myers. That would open up 13 million dollars to spend on our roster

No but what am saying is crying about it won't fix it and being negative about it is dumb. It's similar when Canucks fans cried after we picked Petersson thinking he was skinny and won't make an impact or when we traded for Miller. Oilers drafted McDavid 10 years ago and still havent won crap and that's on top of getting 3 more 1st overall picks and getting Hall, Cogliano, Drai, Yakupov etc. Where is their cup? Where is Toronto's cup when they got Matthews???...then we might see Seattle and FLA in finals with both teams never drafting 1st overall. All this crying is very funny. It's all about how the team manages to get players through other sources not just draft to build a winner. Gillis was very close to winning the cup too. Getting one Bedard won't make you a dynasty, I don't care what anyone here says. Rather have 12 2nd line players and 6 2nd pairing D similar to Seattle then have one elite player surrounded by garbage like Oilers.

You sound so depressing that you should just follow the Hawks now. Not sure why you follow Canucks at all with that negative attitude. Canucks have some nice pieces and Chicago winning Bedard won't guarantee them the cup. Oilers have 2 of the best players in the league and still can win. They even added Kane, Elkhom, Bouchard on top of those 2 best players and still haven't even made the finals. But go on and keep ranting about how Canucks will never win a cup. They should have the top PP in the league with Hughes at point with 76 points as a d-man, Kuzmenko 40 goal scorer, Pettersson 104 point center, Miller 80 point center and 30 goal scorer and Hronek another 40 point Dman or someone like Garland or Beauvillier. He kept putting Boeser out there and relegated Kuzy to 2nd PP even after Kuzy proved he belonged on 1st PP unit. Just very dumb decisions and the PP was always stationary. The last few games was even worst since he had Boeser and Digeseuppe on the 1st PP unit. Completely idiotic decisions by him.

Finally our PP will be better. No more Boeser on PP

Are you a relative of her or something? You seem to be taking it harder than her and she was fired months ago. Who cares about Rachel, she was not really important and we have fired way more valuable people in our organization.

He also not using his players correctly. Digiseuppe should be no where near a 1st line. Might as well use Studnicka with Petey. You can coach defensive structure without playing 4th liners on the 1st line. Then playing Kuzmenko who has 39 goals, the most on the team on the 4th line with Dries. Not using him on the 1st PP. Not playing him in OT. These are the idiotic decisions that will result in our team missing playoffs again.

Idiotic coaching by Tocchet honestly and who ever set up those powerplay lines needs to go to a mental hospital. Digeseuppe on the 1st PP instead of Kuzmenko and Myers on 2nd PP instead of Hirose. No Beauvillier who was also good on PP. It kind of pisses me off if this will be the way that they will use players on PP.
