Well honestly would you even want to go to playoffs without Demko and Petersson? we have a lot of weaknesses WITH them in the lineup, nevermind challenging for playoff spot without them. -

Either way we have way too many 4th liners playing like sutter, vessey, virtanen, highmore, boyd, Hawurlyuk etc.We need a goal scorer because Horvat, Miller and Boeser are not enough. Pearson is average and Hoglander is a rookie that has played well but is still a rookie. -

Yeah, all our wins were because of Holtby and some $&!#ty goaltending by Toronto. -

Yeah but we also are missing Petersson. Even with Petey we have like 4 or 5 legit top 6 NHL forwards that can score with rest being scrubs and 4th liners. Without Petersson, we will even have a harder time of scoring. You can thank Benning for getting rid of Toffoli to keep franchise players like virtanen lol. -

Why don't the canucks play Lind and Rathbone??? They keep playing scrubs like Highmore who couldnt even make blackhawks 4th line and was a waiver wire player. At least have those guys gain some experience playing in the NHL without pressure. -

Can we get Lind into the lineup? we have too many stone hands right now -
The Canucks first 6 games back will determine there Playoff chances

its very possible, especially with price injured. Habs would be one Allen injury away from basically throwing their season in the toilet. Am am not even mentioning Gallagher injury who istheir best player next to Toffoli. -

Hamonic has played great. Our bottom 6 is nice and with Motte coming back soon, it will be pretty great. Motte, Boyd, Highmore, Sutter, Hawerlyuk and virtanen is faster group. I wonder if we could recall Gadjovich or Lockwood to provide more depth. -
4 games against Ott not as easy as it might look

One advantage for the 1 month layoff is that Canucks are fresher physically, meaning they have rested any lingering injuries and top players like Boeser, Horvat and Miller are rested. Covid might have affected them a bit but since they are young, they can recover quickly from it and there doesnt seem to be any long haulers on the team. The other teams are at a disadvantage due to being physically tired from condensed schedule. Look at the injuries in Montreal and how much other players in that team need to play to pick up the slack. Canucks are primed to take advantage of the tired teams, plus we have some younger players inserted into our roster to give us a boost. -
On the bright side Pearson, pettersson, beagle and sutter will be well rested and recovered. Another thing is Montreal is really hurting bad and losing. Also now we have games on hand on them while they are only 8 points up on us all this time we were not playing. So a fresher, healthier Canucks has an advantage on an injured habs team that also has similar schedule as us.

Seven years without a clear plan from Canucks brass.

Which makes Benning a terrible GM. So trigger happy to sign players that have bad season to a contract with NTC. How many NTC contracts we have? -

of course when you extend the same players, you dont have money to upgrade anything. Stupid move to extend pearson this soon. Should have waited to see what was on the market as some teams might want to do trades due to expansion draft. So he delays and doesnt sign toffoli last off season but quickly signs a lesser player like pearson. -
Is it similar plan that they had this offseason where Tanev and Toffoli were let go to sign Virtanen to 2.55 mil? I dont want it
