Every year the "fans" of this team seem to pick a new whipping boy. Years ago it was Raymond (EP falls about 8 times more often than Raymond ever did) and Ballard, two years and into last year it was Boeser, now its' Hoglander. It's just noise to drown out.

Still uncertain how this kid was ever allowed to leave other than utter stupidity. Played gritty and beyond his size, good first pass and delighted to be playing for his hometown team. -

Simply tinkering. Not sure this is an huge upgrade on Lammikko whom I thought played pretty well once Green was dispatched. To be fair I haven't watched him enough of late to really make a fair judgement. Money is pretty insubstantial if it doesn't work for him here. -
Big time disappointment this off-season so far?

Not sure whether to offer a tissue or a cookie? Or both? They will make a deal when they get offered something they believe improves the team. I don't think we will see another roster management fumble here and we have time until the deadline. Maybe he signs and we move someone else. Maybe injuries occur for a playoff bound team and they over pay. Lots of chips in play. Quite frankly, I like Miller on the roster and I'm intrigued by what this roster could do with a full season under Boudreau. I'll be disappointed if we move him. Finally, who's to say that he regresses this year? Unless you are sitting in the war room and have full knowledge of all the other contracts, conversations and offers then it's best not to worry or be disappointed. So what if some other teams made some interesting moves? Not sure I saw one that makes a team radically better. Debrincat to Ottawa probably the most compelling joining a young core. Montreal putting on a show for fans and frankly I think they screwed the pooch..but I could be wrong. Cheer Up and Keep the Faith!!! -
As long as he doesn't warrant being called "Krutov's Hot Dogs" its a win.

[Signing] Canucks re-sign Brock Boeser

Good. They both had rather rough years. Dickenson at least started to show some spark under Boudreau. Don't think we really got a chance to assess Poolman but under Green he struggled like the rest of the team. -
We do not need to tear it down OR make big trades

I wish I could cancel this comment just like your horribly, unfunny TV series. -
[Signing] Canucks re-sign Brock Boeser

Solid signing. I think we are going to see 30+ goals, maybe 40+ if he stays healthy. He looked like a different player under Boudreau -
Well perhaps Tortorella and our incompetent management shouldn't have embarrassed him by sitting him for the immortal Eddie lack in the outdoor game. Lack was better at Twitter than goaltending and his brief career speaks volumes. So Luongo's supposed to sit and do nothing to help our cap instead of taking an opportunity for a career after hockey. Would you? Bettman screwed the Canucks with a retroactive ruling on Luongo's contract. Best goalie we have ever had bar none. (Maybe our current kid will surpass him (Please))

To be fair the contract Luongo was given was originally a great deal. Bettman and the NHL wanted to close this contract loophole and somehow thought it was fair to retroactively punish the Canucks.
