I'd also give that Baer, Granlund, Eriksson line predominately ozone starts and lesser QOC. Feed them easy minutes and let them have some fun. Horvat's line can take on harder matchups and still produce and the twins can play against other top lines. 4th line gets clean up.

I don't like Baer and Bo together particularly. They're like a broken clock. Works twice a day, the rest of the time... Hansen is like Burr but better and faster.

    Hansen wouldn't hurt either.
  5. I'm literally amazed at how many people still don't get this. Guy plays more of the hardest minutes, against the best players on the team than anyone else and accordingly gets burned occasionally as he has his limitations but he's still, by far, our best D. Thankfully this year we've got better depth and maybe can weather him being out a bit better but it's not going to help our GAA. So many, so clueless.
  6. Pretty sure it's about Sutter's package now. #Hijacked #Sutter's Package
  7. I'd watch the #$@% out of a Roger sequel. Doesn't Disney own a more mature studio appendage that could produce it? It'd make nothing but money, you'd think they'd be all over it.
  8. I'm thinking more that Sbisa might get taken by LV. Edler, Stetcher Hutton, Gudbranson Juolevi, Tryamkin Pedan, Biega/Larsen/Subban/etc... Brisebois in Utica for call up.
  9. I'd rather hang on to Sutter personally. Him and Hansen make good options for the twins RW'er and we could still use him as 3C in a post-Sedin world.
  10. I think that will happen more next year when Bo likely gains Boeser as a line mate.
  11. He's 20 and a potential power forward. Those guys were always going to look 'ahead' for the first 4+ years after the draft. Virtanen is very likely to look mediocre for another 2-3 years before he 'gets it'.
  12. I could easily see Tanev moved prior to his NTC licking in this summer.
  13. You're the only one talking about grabbing straws. I'm talking about you attempting to straw man an argument. And no, that's not what I'm saying.
  14. You attempted to straw man. I called you on it. Hardly qualifies as crazy.
  15. Yes they did. Age gap. That succession plan and team culture thing that you think is malarkey (and thankfully management doesn't).
  16. He was part of the trade that got us Sutter there LaStrawman.
  17. Etem, probably, but now that they've wisely sent Virtanen down, it's less of a 'loss' IMO. Rather have Gudbranson and Sutter moving forward. McCann was largely replaced by Lockwood anyhow, Forsling by Stetcher. PLus they already have Subban...you just have to be a bit more patient.
  18. That's disappointing but not surprising. I'm a fan of the books, they were all quite good IMO but I remember seeing the trailer for the movie and thinking, 'that doesn't look right', 'that REALLY doesn't look right'. Shame, sounds like Burton ruined what could have been a very good series of movies. Maybe the studio will reboot with someone able to more closely capture the feel of the books. Well that's good news at least.
  19. I'm hoping Lockwood goes pro and joins them in Utica as well. Then maybe we'll hear less whining from @LaBamba about how 'Benning hasn't fixed Utica' yet
  20. They tend to kind of go hand in hand...
  21. Might be our own Gallagher...
  22. In fairness, Tryamkin's reach would likely help compensate for anyone trying to just go around him in that scenario.
