Virt's a long way from being able to play on the cycle IMO. His speed and physicality are certainly a good fit but he's likely going to be 3-4 years before his brain catches up with his body to play at that level IMO. And that's fine, he's only 20 bloody years old. Unfortunately the twins are likely gone by then. Virtanen fits best with Bo IMO.
For now, they should be playing with one of Hansen or Sutter IMO. They're both pretty North/South guys too but they're experienced enough to at least adapt a bit of cycle game in. Retrieve pucks in corners/along boards and go to the net, get ready for prime passes and shoot, shoot, shoot. Then skate like the wind to get back if the puck starts heading to our zone. Sutter would help Hank out on draws too (they could share the load on their strong sides and 'cheat' a bit more with a nice backup C if they get waived).
Sedin, Sedin, Sutter
Baer, Granlund, Eriksson (O zone starts/ easier match ups)
Virtanen, Horvat, Hansen (shut down/counter punch)
Burr, Gaunce, Dorsett, Skille, Zalewki etc
