  1. Been watching Man Seeking Woman (TV Show) and quite enjoying it. It's definitely a bit odd-ball with kind of a Scrubs meets a darker HIMYM feel to it.
  2. So very much both those things. Pretty sure there's not enough of him left to revive. Yeah that was my least favourite/believable part of that otherwise well done battle scene. I mean he pretty easily could have reached down and grabbed~15 spears with one hand and just started spearing dudes over the shields with one hand and sweeping aside anything in the way with his other hand and/or some well placed kicks. Or as others have said, why not just have him tossing corpses at them (while simultaneously clearing a path). And as the minister already stated....give the guy a big club/tree/boulders or something for #$@% sake! Otherwise, extremely well done scene though. Had trouble getting to sleep after with all the adrenaline pumping and the part with John being trampled/suffocating was especially intense. Sad to see Ramsey's character gone as it was fun to love to hate him but it still felt good
  3. Home made garlic and onion mac and cheese with diced pickles. Thank me later.
  4. Me. I don't eat KM&C. Though I wouldn't judge anyone for adding ketchup to it if they did.
  5. I'm in the minority with a great many things. I'm perfectly happy with that.
  6. Speaking of monetary compensation.... no way I listen to those without it.
  7. Not by choice/without some hefty form of monetary compensation.
  8. Still no idea who they are but I'm pretty sure I'd loath their 'music'.
  9. I confess, I don't even know what you young'ns is goin' on 'bout....
  10. Yeah, by all means Safeway/union should be better than Whitespot. Still retail though, not Utopia
  11. Yeah... the curse of working retail bro Chances are, you'll be short staffed a good chunk of the time no matter where you work.
  12. You still in the restaurant biz, no? Sadly, short staffing is how a lot of companies 'save money'
  13. Awesome, now transit will be perfect and we'll never have to worry about it again!
  14. All due respect to Juice, Gudbranson is on a whole other level.
  15. Love that book. Everyone should read it!
  16. I'm worried that it's so hyped up at this point, it's almost impossible to not be disappointed.
  17. You're not curious about the 1980 phone on the wall though?
  18. Haven't seen any of them. Hell I haven't even watched the Sopranos.
  19. Forgot all about that, thanks for the reminder!
  20. Brooklyn - 7.5/10 Refreshing. That's how I felt about this one. It was a simple story about nice people, making common life choices and about how much those choices, small and large shape our lives. Forks in the road. Sure, it's melodramatic at times but it was told well IMO and exceedingly well acted while being GORGEOUS to look at. Cinematographer Yves Bélanger deserves credit here as I would have happily walked through my TV in to the world he captured. GORGEOUS. If you're in the mood for something gritty, challenging and 'real', just move along. This was as 'light' of a drama as you're likely to find and despite that, still managed to get me to care about that main characters and their outcome. It actually reminds me of a film that would have been made in the period it takes place. It doesn't try to hard to push an agenda, push drama, push reaction etc. It just tells a simple story well and beautifully and it's happy with that. It's subtly impressive without trying to be.
  21. Also didn't actually make sure she was dead or bring her body back to be 'de-faced'...
