  1. It is up to Price now if we win or lose, He will definitely face more than the 20 shots he has been facing. Price must keep it low scoring for us to win. I say we win! 3-2 OT winner by Perry
  2. Russians have no team concept, All individual efforts , long shifts, no discipline. It is the absolute reverse of the Soviet Red Army teams of total structured play. Unless they get together as a team, they will go nowhere. Instead of a team with no talent, they are all talent and no team!
  3. Get over it people, Its TEAM CANADA. Lou will be pulling for Price to do well, We should also.
  4. What is with this guy? Late in the 3rd period up a goal against the Russians and he pulls another patented Dustin Brown cheap shot leg whip at center ice. Absolutely selfish of him at that time of the game. And of course the Russians scored on the PP to tie the game This guy is strange! There has to be something missing upstairs to have this much disrespect for his opponents. It is just the same leg whips over and over. I just do not understand how he keeps getting away with it. Eventually this guy is gonna hurt somebody real bad!
  5. It is Gillis that signed and is commited to the NTC's Get rid of Gillis and a new GM is not tied to the NTC's like Gillis is. A new GM, as long as it is not Gilman, could ask players he doesn't want on the team to waive their NTC's.
  6. If we lose to the leafs on Saturday, We will be 7 points behind the Leafs!
  7. Joey Kenward doing play by play tonight with Garrett Shorty is out! Joey Kenward ‏@kenwardskorner 18m Having this guy hold my hand tonite. Looking forward to joining @SNJohnGarrett for @VanCanucks game on @SNETPacific pic.twitter.com/uOGzKJg8j3
  8. #BellLetsTalk raised $5,472,585.90 yesterday from 109,451,718 social actions. No. 1 Twitter trend in Canada and No. 3 worldwide.

  9. Edmonton Oilers ‏@EdmontonOilers57m Bryzgalov confirmed as tonight's #Oilers starter against Vancouver. Rest of the lineup will be identical to last night vs. Nashville.
  10. When we win tonight and LA loses to SJ, we take over 3rd place in the Pacific Div.! This, as always, is a very important game Also, Ryan Rishaug ‏@TSNRyanRishaug11h Ference Hemsky and Larsen all staying behind. possible trade for the coilers coming?
  11. Meeting was for 8:00 AM, it is probably over. Points to ponder as we await the fate of John Tortorella, who had an in-person hearing today in New York at 8 a.m. (Pacific) with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, deputy commissioner Bill Daly and executive director of operations Colin Campbell. http://blogs.theprovince.com/2014/01/20/actions-spoke-louder-than-all-those-words-as-torts-awaits-suspension-fate/?postpost=v2#content
  12. Hartley deserves a fine also. There is a precedent already from this season, a fine for "player selection and team conduct" to the Sabres Coach in the Scott/ Kessel melee. http://www.nhl.com/i...s.htm?id=683998 NEW YORK, N.Y. - Buffalo Sabres coach Ron Rolston has been fined by the NHL for his role in Sunday's brawl with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The NHL said Rolston was fined for "player selection and team conduct" after putting six-foot-eight enforcer John Scott on the ice after a fight between Toronto's Jamie Devane and Buffalo's Corey Tropp. In its news release announcing the fine, the league said Scott "initiated an altercation" with Leafs forward Phil Kessel. Oh and By the way, Hartley will NOT get fined!
  13. I say 5 games and a BIG fine. There has to be a deterrent to locker room or hallway scuffles, especially for Coaches and GM's
  14. Crosby named Captain of Team Canada http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=441627 Sidney Crosby has been named Canada's captain for next month's Sochi Olympics. Crosby, who scored the gold-medal-winning overtime goal against the United States in Vancouver four years ago, was the natural choice this time around. In addition to leading the NHL in scoring, he's the face of the league and hockey in Canada. Jonathan Toews and Shea Weber were named alternate captains, Hockey Canada announced Sunday morning.
  15. Jeff Paterson ‏@patersonjeff 2h Asked #Canucks Booth about $5K fine to Hanzal: 'I don't know how they frickin' figure that stuff out.'
  16. Hanzal has a history with the league. He was suspended for two games in October for charging the Edmonton Oilers' Jeff Petry and served a game during the 2012 playoffs for boarding Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown. Counting the October suspension, he has forfeited more than $80,000 this season because of disciplinary actions The guy had already been suspended over 2 separate incidents And so on his 3rd suspendable incident in a game where he single handedly injures 3 of our top nine players with stick infractions with already 2 suspensions on his record, he gets a minimum fine of $5000!
  17. Mods! Could we please have the words "Moral Victory" banned from this site. Make them swear words which are automatically deleted.
  18. Royals acquire Travis Brown from Moose Jaw 6'2" 193lbs, D-Man 38 points(9g-29a) in 43 games Great pick up by the Royals He is 4th in scoring of all WHL D-Men right now! Brown has posted 38 points (9g-29a) to go along with 48 penalty minutes in 43 games this season for the Warriors. “We are excited to add such a talented player to our blue line,” Royals’ General Manager Cameron Hope said. “Travis has the kind of exceptional vision and skill that we believe will make him an immediate contributor to our success this season.” The 6-2, 193 lb blueliner’s 38 points so far this season has him one point shy of his career high and ranks him fourth amongst all WHL defencemen in scoring. Brown brings with him playoff experience after he played in 10 games during the 2012 WHL Playoffs in which he picked up two assists as well as appearing in three games in the 2011 post-season.
  19. Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger14m 4pm conference call for Team Canada management and head coach. Expect contact with Canucks medical staff for update on Luongo injury. #TSN We just might find out more about Lou's injury from this
