  1. They were excited for their future 5 years ago. Hahaha still waiting for that great future to arrive.
  2. Exactly. That is huge shot for a child like frame. Hahahah.
  3. What a shot. Total snipe job. 15 more pounds and this kid is going to be incredible.
  4. Nah. Being early isn't the issue. Way over optimistic is the issue. Its nice that you believe all of our prospects are going to pan out, but I guarantee you they won't. That just isn't how it works. Your 80-90% is adorable, and great to finally see. It means our prospect cupboard is filling up, but still way over optimistic.
  5. Too perimeter? Sure he starts on the outside, but he is starting to take it in front, and hard. Jakes speed allows him to take the outside and pass the dman, leaving an easier lane to the front of the net. Jake has a very rare set of tools, and it's going to be amazing to watch when he figures it all out.
  6. Top 6 one day, maybe. But him and Virt are nothing alike other than both being larger dudes. Virt uses size and speed to make plays off the rush. Gads skating is amateur compared to Virt. Gads is a get in front and cause havok kinda guy.
  7. Oops. my bad. Misread it. On a side note, I'll be sure to keep more of a jerk attitude when chatting with you. It seems to be your thing lately.
  8. I didn't say he wasn't a threat. His shot was one of the best in the league. That is a threat. He was also one of the most predictable players in the league. He got the puck and you knew exactly what he was going to do with it. And I absolutly believe he was a 1st line caliber center. No question. And I don't hate Kesler at all. The guy is a grade A @sshole, but that's the kind of player I like on my team. I hate the overly passive BS this team has used for years. I want a guy that will cut you in half to win.
  9. I don't believe there is a thing called an "elite second liner". That is a first liner. Kesler was a first liner.
  10. He isn't really wrong. Kesler was playing the role of a shutdown center. He was great at creating them overs, and he had that shot from the circle where he got a lot of his goals. His passing sucked( the odd time he did it). Doesnt have the greatest puck skill either. He was a hard worker with a great shot and defensive prowess. Saying he wasn't a threat is a little much, but if you were able to cover him tight when he had the puck, or block his shooting lane, he is fairly easy for a turn over because you know he won't pass, and he prob couldn't dangle out of danger.
  11. That's what I had originally wrote right above you, but second guessed myself and erased it. Hahah
  12. Great Vancouver skatepunk. This album is super tech and fast as hell! https://anteaterpunkbc.bandcamp.com/
  13. Same amount of points as #2, but all around better quality stats. Im stoked we got this kid.
  14. Can you explain how he reminds you of a young Forsberg? Other than similar point production, both being skinny as kids, and being Swedish. PF played a power forward/mad bull style game, who was almost impossible to push off the puck because of his strength and size. He had a much different body type than EP as well, and played around or over 210lbs. EP isn't likely to gain another 40 pounds of muscle. Not to mention PF being one of the best players ever.
  15. How would his league compare with the AHL and SHL?
  16. Why? Salo has TONS of experience. He was one of the best defensemen the Canucks have ever had. He played a rock solid d game. He is a very calm, cool and collected guy. He also always came off as a very intelligent, and personable kinda guy. So what out of those qualities would make you doubt his teaching abilities?
  17. Devin's studio is a couple rooms over from mine. Super nice guy.
  18. I grew up on punk. I love it, but I really hate the simple repetitive old school punk. I love progression and technicality in punk rock. When I tell people I love punk, they always assume I mean some 4 chord garbage. There are some incredible bands out there. Propagandhi A Wilhelm Scream Choke Pears Belvedere. There is some great punk out there!
  19. Oh really? You wouldn't take him over Karlsson, Burns, or Hedman? you wouldn't? No sh!t. Lol. Nobody was calling him 'generational' or compare him to Norris winning dmen. He really was one one of the only glimmers of hope from last year. Yeah, Bo had a good year, but most people saw that coming. Boessers coming in was special, but it was only a small handful of games. Why always so dramatic? The guy is talking about Hall Gill and you are talking about Karlsson. Hahahaha
  20. Not if Mason Raymond has anything to say about it! Hahahah
  21. I see he clarified that in a late post. Even with that, since when does every single prospect pan out? it would be very cool, but it is still very optimistic
  22. Hahah sorry man. I haven't seen from you in a while. Similar post count, somewhat similar Silliness
  23. 6 rookies. 3 guys on their 2nd year. 2 really young guys in Bo and Granny. And Kane as the wise veteran. What a garbage season this lineup has ahead of them. Deniro, is that you?
  24. My all time favourite punk band. Choke. Super tech super fast skate punk. https://ca.video.search.yahoo.com/video/play;_ylt=A2KIo9u8YOlZTG4AwiCU7olQ;_ylu=X3oDMTBzM3UzbjRzBHNlYwNzcgRzbGsDdmlkBHZ0aWQDBGdwb3MDMTA-?p=choke.+punk&vid=366a4f6593be77151f1e8f10b2e6289d&turl=https%3A%2F%2Ftse4.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOVP.KNkEdtfrHqfhAfOp-QHl8wEsDh%26pid%3D15.1%26h%3D225%26w%3D300%26c%3D7%26rs%3D1&rurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3De-YJoqD234M&tit=Choke+-+01+-+Recoil+|+Foreword&c=9&h=225&w=300&l=167&sigr=11b17pkrl&sigt=10us76foc&sigi=12rs3tgjs&age=1473182166&fr2=p%3As%2Cv%3Av&fr=iphone&tt=b
