  1. https://mobile.twitter.com/mikepage10/status/1419776322667126784/photo/1 Allegedly, it’s a lot more than just one woman, and at least two who have police reports against Jake.
  2. Nope. I didn’t like the kid since the illegal fishing story came out. Hahahaha Not to mention he is a hobbit. Don’t let the doorknob hit you in the back of the head Palmu
  3. That’s a lot for Hughes and Garland (you could knock a mill off Garland and still be pretty fair). Overall I like the lineup. Id try to find a way to get rid of Holtby and use that cap for a Dman. OJ need a some more seasoning before he is ready for a full time role. That lack of pivot ability scares me. Hopefully an off-season of training has fixed that knee.
  4. That will be a pretty big run he’d have to take………… coming all the way from Russia and all
  5. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, Jake you big dummy
  6. Biggest disappointment in a long time for this team. I wasted a lot of time cheering this kid on and sitting in his corner hoping he’d get it. Such potential to be an absolute hero here. Big, fast, strong local kid. Unfortunately he is a lazy, entitled @$$hole and potential sex offender. Good luck in Russia you waste of space.
  7. They will still be serviceable for sure. It is questionable OEL is worth his contract today. It’s not going to look any better are he continues to age and decline. He will still be a good player, there is no doubt there, but he won’t be close to worth what we are paying for him. (I’m going to ignore the part where you crapola a high end prospect that would instantly be 1 in our pool)
  8. 3 seasons ago. Was well on pace the last couple years as well. It seems people aren’t taking into account the absolute dog $&!# team he has been playing on, or the coaching change that seemed to ruin a lot of their players. Is this trade going to suck in 3 years? 100% But let’s not act like this guy sucks. He will probably be our best dman for a year or two until Quinn realizes there are two ends of the ice.
  9. Meh. I don’t think so. Their rookie year they were pretty close. Last year Makar pulled away big time. While Hughes spent the first half of the year hot dogging and refusing to play D, Makar was lighting it up big time in all ends of the ice. He stepped up and became one of the top 3 D in the league. Quinn……. Well he struggled most the year to keep the puck out of his own net. They aren’t comparable anymore. 5.5-6.5 for Quinn is more than fair
  10. I get why they passed on him. I prefer Spicy-Salami myself…
  11. No. He is a dman. Giving him ice time as a winger won’t help his development, and we have wingers who would play the position better than Woo. Obviously. Why do people keep trying to do this to dmen? So dumb. He needs to play his position. If he isn’t ready for a full time defence role, he stays in the minors to develop until he is.
  12. I don’t know what it is. And like I said, I hope I’m wrong. I just have a feeling he won’t be more than a 6-7. Why are you explaining others expectations to me? Lol. I never mentioned thinking he isn’t in the NHL fast enough. Im not 14. Lol. I like the old Redwing model where they used to let good prospects marinate for years and they come in fully prepared to kick butt. 3,4,5 years. Whatever it takes.
  13. Quinn is better on the left, and I just don’t see Woo panning out. I really hope I’m wrong, I just see him as a 6-7 tops. Persson I doubt goes anywhere. I guess there isn’t much better on the left. IMO our D group is too small and weak as a whole.
  14. Where is Clarke? He fills our biggest hole. RHD
  15. Comprehension isn’t your strong suit. That’s fine. Anyway, back into the abyss with you.
  16. Oh yes. I forgot. Hamonic started the year not injured and jumped right into being a great partner for Hughes. OR He came in late and took weeks to get going. And we are talking about HUGHES here. Not the team. Hughes. You are trying to be the master of strawman. Just using as many unrelated dummy statements you can to be right. lol Again, I don’t care what you think about Hughes or Boeser. It’s irrelevant to what was being discussed, and with Hughes, Petey going down was the same time as Hamonic finally coming around. And again, I didn’t say EP going down didn’t effect JT. I said it wasn’t a considerable amount of points he lost, and his overall game didn’t drop. I understand you have a schoolboy crush on ol’ Petey Boi, and that’s fine, but without him the world doesn’t stop for the other players. I’m sorry, who are you? You seem to know me, my likes and tendencies. I can’t remember ever reading any of your posts. I’m gonna guess you are one of these people who have only been here a couple years, with way more posts than likes.
  17. Because points aren’t the only part of the game? Lol Noone is saying Petey doesn’t improve those around him. I was replying to a poster saying his numbers dropped considerably, which just isn’t true. Then you come in talking about two others, one who had a great season all year, and the other who’s game was almost all his own efforts issue. Hughes had the big points in the beginning of the season because he was hot dogging and playing ZERO defence. He was all in for the points. That’s one of the reasons why his +- sprinted to the bottom of the league earlier on. His points slowed down a bit because once Hamonic was his partner, he calmed down a bit and tried to actually play his position a bit more. It had nothing to do with EP.
  18. Boeser had a great bounce back year. Hughes was fine offensively and crap defensively because of a lack of effort and not having his partner that he leaned on to cover for him so much. Miller was still close to PPG. Sure he is great with EP, but he wouldn’t lose much if not playing him.
