Does anyone know where Shinkaruk and Horvat will be playing this year if they don't make the team? Will they be too old for junior and play in the AHL instead?

Gillis was on the Team 1040 yesterday and he mentioned that Jordan Schroeder will play some games with the Canucks this season. This is great news! I'm sure a lot of us are curious to see where he is at in his development.

1 goal 1 assist for Schroeder tonight in a 3-2 loss to Rockford (Blackhawks farm team) Now up to 11 goals and 12 assists - 23 points in 40 games.

10 goals in 61 games last season. With his goal tonight, he now has 10 goals in 39 games this season. Great to see the improvement and hopefully he continues in the second half of the season.

Lets hope so. It was really exciting when Schroeder first came to the Moose and finished the regular season with 9 points in 11 games and then went on to be point per game for them in the playoffs (6 points in 6 games). Last season with the Moose he had a pretty tough season only putting up 28 points in 61 games(he was almost at a .5 PPG pace but it was still disappointing after what he did the season before). Lets just hope he heats in the second half of the season with the Wolves this year and has a pretty decent sophomore season in the AHL.
