  1. Still of 1 mill that is pretty much free,it isn't and that's what I didn't think of you are right.Saying that 500000 would be cheaper the an elc.Mist teams still would even if one year would rather have a Myers then a player learning who can do that in the ahl.
  2. You can retain up to 50 percent of a players salary. The start of the season Myers will get 1 mill in salary. We retain 1 mill.We pay one mill. That is under 50 percent That is allowed under the rules. Summer before the season starts he gets 5 mill paid as a signing bonus. How much does the other team pay??? Easy math bud if you do not get that this time or anytime no longer worth my time. Only thing the other team gets is cap hit against them minus the 1 mill we retain and pay. Example OEL the totes retained part of his salary which they pay NOT US.
  3. Retain it yes for the season duh. His final season equals 5 mill summer , 1 mill left which we pay. Look up what retention means.
  4. Ok his contract after 5mill signing bonus is 1 mill left.He gets the 5 mill this summer. We in the trade pay 1 mill and he is gone. The other team pays nothing.Do you not get basic math?
  5. Exactly plus like we both said Livingstone and maybe another NCAA low cost high potential player and we will be souch better.
  6. EP40 has players to play with QH needs one.
  7. You are correct. I think Hedican could skate as fast or faster the Bure backwards. I just remember him being behind the other teams net yet catching them before they got to our net.
  8. Look at the minutes he plays.Would not cost them money. He is better then most give him credit for. After the few ufa's rhd go Myers will be in demand. Where can you get an NHL D man for under 5 mill that can play over 20 minutes a night . Right now RHD are the hardest to get in the NHL so yes most teams would see that and try and get him.
