So for those of you blaming AV, assuming Shultz was scared off by the coach's treatment of young players... ..,don't you think he'd be more scared of by the way the fans treat the players? This thread is the perfect proof of that.

I think this was the last straw for a lot of people that were giving him the benefit of the doubt. He's getting torn apart on Twitter. FYI - He also said Mitchell is close to signing, and Washington and San Jose are front runners. While that's not an outrageous claim, common sense will tell you that Vancouver has the advantage, all things being equal (salary, term, etc). I think he's set himself up for another failure on this one.

So, what you're saying is, that allowing Eklund rumours will somehow tarnish the reputation of this world-class institution known as CDC? Go spend a few minutes in Canucks Talk. You'll quickly realize that the standards are already pretty low and there's nothing to defend. Besides, why get so upset when you can easily avoid Eklund threads? I'm not a fan of Eklund rumours either, but unlike you, I just avoid them, instead of spending my Saturday night whining about it on CDC.
