  1. In another thread someone said he was worth a 1st and 5 million. I thought that was an over payment. My reasoning was that he would not get the same opportunities here on a deeper team. I was wrong on the salary for sure. I hope he's worth the salary in those 6 million years. I still love what he brings though.
  2. I heard that some American players had a tough time with the restrictions. They didn't specify which players though. I based my opinion off of that.
  3. I thought that he would have all other Canadian teams on his 10 team no trade list. Many top players do according to some.
  4. I predicted that he wouldn't want to play in Canada if he's traded.
  5. I honestly don't mind if a fan has pessimism. I just don't like lies and disingenuous slants. Base the arguments on fact and acknowledge other fans points instead of re-spewing the narratives endlessly. Not you. the media and negative posters on here.
  6. Read the post that you just quoted. It's not that complicated. Our toxic media twists quotes to suit their narrative. The whining sycophants use the twisted quotes as truth and ignore the actual quote. Another player agent just came out and said pretty much the same thing. Our media are toxic clowns who constantly spew negativity.
  7. Pearson was already under contract. It wasn't Pearson or Toffoli. So we have one whipping boy already. Who else will the media and the negative whiners target. They will watch OEL for any mistake. They've already been whining about Pearson. They usually need at least four guys to whine about. If Holtby stays, he'll be one. Myers as well?
  8. jake virtanen belongs in jail if these allegations are true, It seems like they are. Strike any predictions. I hope no team in the NHL takes him.
  9. Schmidt and OEL are both comfortable on the right side. We're going to pick up a couple of UFA defenders as well. We don't have to trade Schmidt. If we get a good deal then go for it, otherwise we just play him. Win-win.
  10. It limits our options. Brian Burke and others have said that Vancouver and other Canadian markets are on a lot of the top players no trade list. Media clown toxicity has an adverse effect on our ability to compete for top players. We are finally on the upswing and that should entice players now but it has been difficult to attract top players without over-paying. When we were down it just fed a cycle of negativity from the clowns and their idiot sycophants. Not only that but we are on the verge of breaking out and the clowns are saying that we will need to rebuild soon. How stupid is that? But sure, keep defending them.
  11. It's funny that the clowns and whiners use terms like Benning bros and church of Benning etc. yet they seem like the ones with an unhealthy obsession with Benning. He's living rent free in their heads.
  12. I say we compile a list of the most negative ones and call on our servers to spit on their food and stick dirty wieners in their drinks before they serve it to them.
