  1. We have too much talent for them to overcome. I was going to just say that we are too deep for them, but I saw where this thread was headed.
  2. I guess it's real after all. $&!#ty. My favorite of her work was cult classic Sheena.
  3. If there is no cap room when an injured player is ready to return then that player cannot be activated until there is enough cap room. I'm not sure what else you expect to happen. It would be better if he waited longer than last time anyway.
  4. You guys are suckers. The real issue is not the vaccines and tracking people or being zombified. That's a smokescreen. The real issue is the testing. They're taking dna samples of everybody and are cloning people as we speak. The clones will all vote for lefty governments. The people replaced by clones will eventually be turned into soylent red. Don't worry, the soylent red will be pet food.
  5. There's a different equation for training camp LTIR. We want to be as close as possible to the cap to start the season in order to maximize our LTIR. At that point we will have almost the entirety of Ferland's salary to sign other players.
  6. No he did not. The hit was not late and the head was not the principle point of contact. That season, they were giving a full second between puck touch and hit. The only time the .5 of a second was referenced was when the league tried to justify the ridiculous suspension for a clean just hit because it looked bad.. It also helped boston by taking away another d-man on an already limping corp. I'm not going to bother responding to you anymore. You admonish people for saying bad things about messier because they didn't see the incident even though that is what the thread is about. You then go on to defend messier by guessing what happened because you also did not see it yet your opinion is somehow valid while Canucks fans opinions are not. You try to dictate criteria for "dirty". You claim to not defend dirty yet you have defended messier's dirty play and now boychuk's dirty play. You also resorted to a go to move of league stooges and trolls. If you respond to me, a simple response in binary code is all that's needed.
  7. I think so too. He is definitely strong enough. His vision and passing ability are NHL calibre. I was surprised at the level of his attention to detail. I didn't think he would be a top 6 guy right away, but he's making me rethink that. If we make the Playoffs and he comes in at the end of the season, he will add a much needed element at just the right time.
  8. I think our skill combined with our style of play will break through their defensive structure. To me, their only hope is out goaltending us.
  9. So how late was boychuck's attack on Raymond? That was in the same series. The hit was not egregiously late and the head was not the principle point of contact. Since then, our players have taken hits later than that entering the zone and the league stooges always answer with "He should have kept his head up." The only difference was the outcome looked bad on the league. The point I made earlier was about the league changing rules to favour specific teams. .5 of a second to over 4 seconds is a big jump. Nothing to see here though.
  10. Rome's hit was 8/10s of a second after the puck left the stick. He contacted his chest first. When St Louis won the Cup, the league was letting hits 4 seconds and more after the puck left the stick. The announcers who talked about "four steamboats" late were all fired in the off season.
  11. That and some missed calls on both sides. Raymond took a nasty cross check and some trips around the net were ignored.
