    Parise and Suter to be bought out?!? Wow...that's some huge dead cap space. And, makes Holland look even worse for the Keith deal.

      Parise and Sutter didn't win any cups or gold medals or individual awards. Duncan Keith has multiples of all of those

      I guess we'll see if Keith's cups and awards, 6 to 10 years ago, on a different team with a much more complete roster, is worth losing assets (Caleb Jones and 3rd) along with adding potentially several million towards their cap (relative to what Suter signs for elsewhere). I wouldn't think so. But I would've also pursued Leddy instead of either, at this point in their careers.

      I'm not a fan of Duncan Keith, but major props to him for his response to Edmonton fans and media criticizing the Oilers acquiring the ancient warhorse. He said, in so many words, "Let's wait until training camp and then we'll see who's lost a step." He is NOT going to Edmonton to ease into his golden years, he'll end up playing 22-24 minutes a night in all situations. He ain't finished by a long shot.
