      Apparently the player in question was Mitch Marner. More apparently (this hasn't been officially verified but I've seen it pop up in a few plaaces), Marner listed Kadri as the least hard-working player and Babcock told Kadri in front of Marner. 

       

      Make of this what you will. It might not be completely true, mind you. I'm only posting what other people have said.

      Though some fans still detest Mike Gillis, he figured out pretty quickly that travel and scheduling meant the Canucks were at a fatigue-disadvantage over the course of a season. With that in mind, he and I think Gilman, began going back to Toronto or New York to work with the schedule-makers to have more input into a more equitable schedule, given Vancouver is so far away from most of the NHL. Benning needs to push a lot harder for a better schedule, because these marathon road trips lead to fatigue and insufficient recovery time, thereby costing the team wins and making the players more vulnerable to injury.

      I hate early games, we've got an awful record when it comes to them. Almost every time we play before 1pm is seems like we lose.
