  1. High quality Photoshop skills.
  2. Boston seems to survive those wacky trades... Joe Thornton, Tyler Seguin, etc. Edmonton...nopers.
  3. Made all the worse by the fact that they hit a homer with Taylor Hall and then traded him for peanuts.
  4. That was the story of Brodeur's entire tenure. Canucks never had a single 100 point player in the whole time Brodeur was in net 1980-88. Perhaps the only team in the entire NHL that didn't have one during the decade. Every other team in the Smythe division had at least one 130 point player during that stretch.
  5. I think Loui Eriksson is overdue for a letter.
  6. It may be no accident that all of the years involving orange, yellow and black were the years where continuously the Canucks were no pushover and hard to play against. There weren't any years from Tiger and Snepsts all the way through to Odjick and Hunter where the Canucks had the "tranquil and peaceful" reputation that came with some of the lineups of other uniforms. Messier years - have fun opposition, we're just going Sunday skating. Daniel and Henrik - Jesus says to turn the other cheek... Tiger, Odjick, Snepsts, Fraser, etc. Nobody is getting out of that arena against the orange and yellow guys without some bruises. Even Richard Brodeur was throwing punches at the media after games.
  7. Yeah, those were the days where not many games were on TV. And the road jersey was like the guys putting on their war paint.
  8. Vernon Barrasso John Ross Roach My continuing HOF campaign.
  9. Even if Markstrom maxes out his potential every year starting now, he'd be hard pressed to compete with Luongo's career years.
  10. No need to compare at all. How informed an opinion can you develop if, like the other person, you don't even engage in a comparison or an attempt to gain information and evaluate. Do or don't, it means nothing to me.
  11. I don't agree with your assessment of Biden, either having heart or being respectable. I can back this up with examples but like I said earlier, perhaps others should take a closer look at the candidate for themselves rather than automatically assuming he's better than Trump out of hatred for the orange guy.
  12. It's not even meant as an insult. You had the same reaction a young earth creationist has when presented with dinosaur bones.
  13. Then I don't think you've looked independently and honestly at the words and policies of both candidates, from their own mouths and actions. And the manner in which you immediately end the discussion there suggests the emotional reaction of a partisan that isn't interested in actual evidence or discussion. Trump wasn't mentored by a KKK exalted cyclops. Biden was. His mentors in government were Robert Byrd and Strom Thurmond. And that's just for starters. But like you said, we can discontinue.
  14. It's fair to believe what he said if you want but I don't think it's accurate. There is a far stronger case for Biden having racial issues than Trump. And that's the tip of the iceberg for reasons to think twice about voting for Joe.
  15. I can't tell if you're being serious. Edit... Never mind, I though by "that environment" you meant America rather than the home. However, it's not entirely clear from what I've read so far that the parents are racists. They may well be, but it's not obvious from what I've read.
