  1. Very true. I think that's all hank meant , just didn't come out right. I did like the interview though. He sounded raw and honest
  2. Ya I'm sure hank didn't mean it to sound bad , but it did. Wasn't the best choice of a sentence. I was kinda like ....did he really just slam his new teammate ? I'm sure he didn't intend that , but that's what it sounded like.
  3. Tyler Myers. That's what I'm expecting
  4. Yeah I know. Just don't see hank being that candid often.
  5. Yes he is. I would take him over both, especially in today's NHL
  6. Lol. This is true. Good point. Pronger was a bit better at it then garbage man Alberts though. I'd still take Pronger. The guy was not just a goon. He was incredibly talented. Yeah , he may had more penalty minutes here then anywhere else though I'll give you that. Lol
  7. Yeah. They were both great d men , but Pronger was by far the best shutdown d man of his era, unpredictable and mean. Played almost 30 minutes a night and controlled the pace throughout. Guy was a dink , but an absolute beast.
  8. I think I would much rather Pronger dude. Aside from all that , he is one of the best d men of all time. He's way Ahead of chara IMO. That's just me. I not convince tryamkin will be either. Like it's been suggested , I see a edler type guy.
  9. Hahaha. That was awesome. "He's not going to be the next Chris Pronger". Lol. That's awesome
  10. What does tryamkin think of the chara comparisons ? Everybody has compared me to Zdeno Chara, my entire life,” Tryamkin said through a translator. “I have no idea why.” And that, folks, is Tryamkin’s first joke. Rim shot. Through that translator, Tyamkin said he would like to actually surpass Zdeno Chara. “I would like not to be Zdeno Chara. I would like to be Nikita Tryamkin.”
  11. Thanks for the summary. I'm excited to see him play
  12. love one of the announcer at the world juniors sayin "tryamkin plays for a team sponsored by major car manufacturing plant in the KHL but I think me may have been assembled in one"
  13. Well . Maybe I just got the wrong impression then. If that's the case, good. And who knows , maybe he will surprise everyone
  14. Ok. U don't like general terms , so how about , allot of fans. Is that better ? Happy now ?
  15. And that's probably what everyone should be thinking. Sadly , he is coming in to cheer up a disgruntled fan base and will be expected to do way more then he's probably capable of. He's is intriguing , but I highly doubt he's guna walk in here and dominate the way everyone seems to expect him to. He is still very young and will need time. I guess u never know though ( as we saw with Hutton). Personally , I just want to see potential and that's all I'm expecting
  16. I bet Kesler could honestly say that to allot of kids around town.
  17. Trade deadline will kill it. It will be minor compared to what's ahead I bet
  18. No kidding. He's rated 10 spots behind brock now on some lists. And everyone thinks it was a fluke. lol.
  19. They see that no matter what u have done in the past , u better to have something to offer in the present. I would assume they would see that as motivation to skate hard. Nobody wants to play for a team with nostalgia issues. They tend to loose allot Giving ice time and a roster spot to a guy that's not playing well would be frustrating to a young guy that has more to offer. It's not about "kicking him to the curb". Every NHL player has a shelf life. When he stops playing top end , he stops getting top end. That's how business works. I have no doubt they will do it respectfully , but the results will be the same
  20. 4:10 mark. Wow. That's one of the fastest releases I have ever seen. This kids hands are unreal. That shot actually made my jaw drop
  21. Yeah always sad to see an iconic player that everyone loves coming to the end of his run. True nuck. Hopefully we can find someone younger to fill shoes. Tall order. He's done allot for this team
