  1. I remembered when Canucks fans were excited year after year over one player who was going to help the Canucks. Cody Hodgson, Jordan Schroeder, Kassian, Brendan Gaunce, Josh Holden, Hunter Shinkaruk and so on. Now, there are so many young players drafted by the Canucks who will form the core to be a SC contender for years.
  2. Jeff Petry is having a great year - 10 goals 14 assists 24 points in 25 games. 33 years old fart. Hard to beat Alexis Creek Carey Price two games in a roll.
  3. I can't wait to see Tryamkin flatten Tkapuke in front of Demko.
  4. I have a feeling the Hobey Baker Winner, Adam Gaudette, will score tonight. He had many grade A chances and is due.
  5. I hope he will be a stay at home D who will have limited offensive ability. He said he prides himself on the defensive part of the game.
  6. He was a very good player during last year playoffs. JB stole him for only a 3rd round pick. The Canucks haven't had a offensive puck moving defenseman for a long time before Quinn Hughes. In a few years, they will have three of them - Hughes, Schmidt and Rathbone. WOOOOO
  7. They will not be like the trains in North America. Bullet trains.
  8. What's going on? Hoglander this year and Podz next season. Canucks are spoiled and Bettman is not happy.
  9. I am relieved the bandwagon emptied out. More leg room and social distancing is back to normal. Hated those complainers who didn't want to wear a mask. I wonder if they visit their elderly relatives? I can smell what JB is cooking. Boeser, Petterson, Hughes, Hoglander, Juolevi and Demko are the start of the young guns core. Podz, Lind, Rathbone and Woo will be joining them. It's so exciting to watch them develop. The Aquilini's knows a thing about building a massive building. It takes time. Wait until the young Canucks reach their prime playing years, they will be a top contender for the SC every year. Even if they don't make the playoffs, a high draft pick will become a Canuck. I heard that JB guy and his crew are not bad at drafting NHL players.
  10. I like Rathbone. He's a bulk up Quinn Hughes and will be another Calder trophy candidate.
  11. On the front of his Twitter page.
  12. Sid the kid won the Cup in his 4th season in 2009. It took him and Malkin another 7 years before winning two SC in a row at age 30 years old. Their team in 2009 had the two high end players - Sid and Malkin plus a real veteran team, players with extensive 10+ years of NHL experience. Names we are all know at the downfall of their prime. They all had jobs at +30 years old. The veterans all played a role in their SC Championship. Players Age Craig Adams 32 Matt Cooke 30 Pascal Dupuis 30 Rusland Fedotenko 30 Hal Gill 34 Sergei Gonchar 35 Chris Kunitz 29 Brooks Orpik 28 Miroslav SATAN 34 Maxime Talbot 25 Stanley Cup Campions in the last 5 years and the age of their top players. Chicago 2015 Toews 27 Kane 27 Keith 32 Pittsburgh 2016-2017 Cosby 30 Malkin 31 Fleury 33 Kessel 30 Washington 2018 OV 33 Backstrom 31 Kuznetsov 26 Oshie 32 St. Louis 2019 O'Reilly 28 Pietrangelo 30 Schenn 28 Tampa Bay 2020 Stamko 32 Hedman 29 Kucherov 27 And the core young Canucks are 24, 22, 21, 19 and 14 (Finn). Canucks fans must wait until the young core ages and surrounded by a supporting cast. Canucks 2025 SC Champions. Petty 26 Boeser 28 Hughes 25 Horvat 29 Hoglander 24 Juolevi 26 Podkolzin 24 Taxi squad Edler 38 Ericksson 39
  13. One man at 650 a.m. brought up a good point. How long before the elite players in the NHL won their Stanley Cup? OV, Stamkos, Crosby and so on. It took most of them years and they were at their prime age playing on Veteran teams. Wait until these young Canucks get bigger, stronger, faster and gain experience. I can't remember when the Canucks had so many star young players and more in the pipeline. Can you smell what Jim Benning is cooking???????????
  14. Somebody should start a site where ALL NHL hockey fans can rate the refs. The bottom dwellers should be demoted to the ECHL. Not calling multi cross checks in a row is not doing your job and causing additional work for your linesmen who must break up the fights.
  15. Curt Fraser was my favorite. Pound for pound, he was one of the best in his weight class. The rookie line of Smyl, Fraser and Gradin was fun to watch. Smyl didn't take shiz from anybody. Gradin had class like the Sedins. I met Gradin again last week. Lots of respect for him. He was the toughest Swede in that era of fighting every day. JB tried and sign Ferland but it didn't work out. Hamonic would have fought the Amish man if he was playing. We need MacEwen, Gadjovich and Lind to make this team.
  16. This snarly Jet might play on Sunday. Pierre-Luc Dubois LW | 6' 2" | 205 lb Pierre-Luc Dubois | #13
  17. We need a big power forward who can score. Let's hope he can skate well enough to play in the NHL. He already has the size which the Canucks need in their lineup.
  18. Woo said he works hard all his life on the defensive part of the game. The future right hand defenseman for Quinn Hughes?
  19. All the young Canuck stars are still very young. Wait until they all hit their prime at 24-28. Petty, Hughes, Boeser, Demko, Hoglander, Juolevi, Podkolzin, Rathbone, Woo, Lind.
